Trust In The Lord

Today’s inspiration is a beautiful card that was found on the Poetic Artistry blog.  What an appropriate card to send out to someone who is needing some comfort in their life; such an elegant and peaceful card.  Julee Tilman, the owner and illustrator of Verve Stamps, created this gorgeous card.  A big ” Thank You”  Julee for sharing this wonderful inspirational project with us today.

Trust In The Lord

The card was inspired by Deconstructed Sketch #128 by Jen Shultz.  Julee wanted some map paper to go along with the verse “direct your paths” in reference to the scripture.  She used the World Traveler by Teresa Collins.  She stamped the scripture from Scripture Medley 2 onto a circle die cut.  Cutting out another circle from Scripture Medley 1, then trimmed it off so the sentiment would show.

Using the Flourished Trim Die she layered it as a divider and then accented it with black liquid pearls.  Giving it a finishing touch she added a fun damask butterfly along with some polka dot black ribbon.

Trust In The Lord

Julee made a matching bookmark using the stamp from Scripture Medley 1.  Again she used the Flourished Trim Die as a divider.  What a great bookmark to give along with a nice book for those who love to read.

Creativity involves in breaking out of your traditional style.  Take a look at your project in a different way, and never hesitate to try something new.
