Virtue and Devotion

Today’s inspiration is a masterpiece full of vintage charm.  This has so much sophistication and beauty.  I love all of the layering on this card and to finish it off the darling bows that give it such a beautiful feminine touch!  Don’t you just love this?

Virtue and Devotion

This beautiful vintage card was created by a very talented lady Cherry Nelson.

Virtue and Devotion

Cherry used the natural burlap with wire in black for some of her layering.  Adding to it she used many very old laces.

Some vintage buttons, stick pins, old scissors, art deco charm piece and an old rhinestone were added.  These came from Cherry’s stash that she had been hanging onto for awhile.  Her background paper is from Crafty Secrets.  To finish it off she added white seam binding that she aged with ink.  Such a fun card that can also be turned into a wonderful piece to hang up in your favorite room.

I would like to say Thank You to Cherry Nelson for her fabulous creation.   I am always so very inspired by Cherry’s outstanding designs.  If you ever need a burst of creative inspiration I highly recommend you to visit Cherry’s Jubilee.  You will always be so uplifted.
