Happy Saturday, my crafty friends! I hope this Saturday brings a ray of sunshine to your day! We are approaching a new week, and with a new week comes a chance to start over and try new things. I hope today’s inspirations will certainly give you some inspiring ideas!
Sometimes your beautiful creations should be displayed in your home for not only you to enjoy, but also your family and friends. This layout is certainly one you could frame and hang on your wall. The beautiful white and gold flowers are made from the We R Memory Keepers Flower Punch Board. Some gold glitter heat embossed patterns were added to a few of the flower petals and leaves.
This beautiful layout was created by Renee Zwirek and what a fabulous job she did creating this! Be sure to CLICK HERE for a full tutorial on how to create this step by step. You will also find a complete supply list to create this outstanding layout. If you would like to see more of Renee’s layouts, CLICK HERE to see her Gallery.
This amazing card features the new mini envelope die set from Spellbinders. I find this to be such a creative way to give a gift card, money, or even a special note to a dear friend or family member. This is a three die set, so you can change out the top of your envelope.
Spellbinders offers you, the card maker, the ability to customize your card and create your own embellishments. Michelle Woemer has such a talent when it comes to designing her projects. If you get some time, visit her blog Stop & Stamp the Roses. You will be so glad you took the time to do so.
Do you have a hard time coming up with a creative gift? Today’s inspiration is such a fun, easy, and very impressive way to make a gift! Who would have ever thought to stamp on tiles? Next time you need a special gift make your own creative coasters.
Pull out your stamps and a couple of different colors of Hybrid Ink and let your imagination run wild. Amy Rysavy has a wonderful video to share on how she created her tiles. Click here to watch. When you finish your fun tiles, you can jump on over to Prairie Paper & Ink to see more of Amy’s wonderful projects.
With Mother’s Day coming up on us so quickly, I couldn’t help but think of what mother wouldn’t love a handmade gift, and especially for the home. What a treasure to sit out or even display in her china cabinet! (This is a great way for her to brag about you). Today you will be so surprised to see how easy this is to create using StazOn Studio Glaze.
With this quick method of creating such an adorable teapot, you could even wait until the last minute with this technique! So now you don’t have to stress out on what special gift you need to get for Mother’s Day. Give this a try – you will have so much fun creating a design in your favorite colors. Well, I have given you some things that will keep you busy until we meet back here again next Saturday. I will be teaching classes at the Scrapbook Expo this next week in Puyallup, Washington, so if you happen to be in that area on April 24th and 25th please stop by and say hi, or even better than that, take my workshop so I get a chance to meet you! Have a wonderful weekend.
