Flower Patch Birthday

I hope that you’ve had some time this month to relax and enjoy the beginning of summer. This is such a fun time of year to take lots of photos! Today I hope to inspire you with some fun projects to create that you can add your treasured photos to.

Collections layout designed by Emma Williams

I love using black and white, then popping in a bright color to create a striking layout. This fabulous mixed media project shows the perfect way of adding a pop of color to your project. What a stunning design from Emma!

Emma started by using a striped background and gave it splatters of red with a beautiful flower as a focal point. Her lovely detail work included red texture, mesh stencil, mixed media stencil with crackles, and chipboard. This is definitely one of those WOW projects!  Click here and come on over to Emma’s That’s Life blog; you will find a wonderful step-by-step tutorial with all of the products you will need. I really hope you have a great time creating your own fun mixed media layout!

Mini Folder card designed by Kathy Clement

Have you ever created a card using a mini file folder? I love the vintage feeling that this card portrays. The soft colors, along with the touch of flowers and pretty bows, will brighten the day of the person receiving this truly beautiful card.Mini Folder CardMini Folder Card

The inside of the card is a great way of using your ephemera packs. Making a pocket opening on the left side of the card is perfect for a gift card or cash. Wedding season is coming, so this would be a wonderful card to give to the new bride and groom. Click here for instructions on how to create your own beautiful card!

Flower Patch Birthday card designed by Jill Franchett

Can you imagine the smile on the face of the person receiving this lovely floral card in the mail? What fun stamps with coordinating flower framelits; they make creating beautiful cards super easy.
