Welcome to Weekly Scrapper! I’m happy you’ve been able to find some time for yourself to enjoy being creative. Sundays are special to me because this is the time that I have to share my passion for crafting with you when I’m not teaching at a Scrapbook Expo. So sit back, relax, and enjoy today’s inspiration.
Now that Thanksgiving is behind us, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Christmas doesn’t have to always be red and green, as shown in this adorable shaker card designed by Kara. Don’t you just love the soft pink and grey color scheme with a hint of sparkle?
For a complete list of supplies, hop on over to Kara’s blog K and R Designs. Would you believe this sweet holiday card was created in less than 20 minutes? Ya gotta love it! Happy holidays to all!
What a gorgeous winter scene! Nina-Marie even created her own custom embossing powder; I love it. The unique background was done with distress inks and a fun heat emboss-resist technique.
If you’ve been as inspired as I am with the beautiful background, click here and I will escort you over to the Neat and Tangled site so you can check out Nina-Marie’s video tutorial. You definitely don’t want to miss it, you are going to love all the fun tips and techniques she has to share.
There is nothing like a handmade gift around the holidays. Who wouldn’t love this altered Ledger Box designed by the very talented Jenny Marples. Would you believe that this shabby chic project started out as a boring, inexpensive paper-mâché box?
I’d like to thank both Jenny and the folks at Frilly and Funky for allowing us to share this unique project. I highly recommend stopping by the Frilly And Funky blog anytime you need a burst of inspiration.
Are you looking for an easy yet yummy dinner for tonight? You are going to love these Lasagna Roll Ups that I discovered on the Cooking Classy blog.
Just add a simple salad and your favorite crusty Italian bread and you have a delicious meal. Your family and friends will be requesting this dinner time and time again, so you might want stop by the Cooking Classy Blog and print out a few copies of the recipe. Click here and I will take you over. Enjoy!
I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving and are ready to prepare for the upcoming holidays. Have a wonderful week and I look forward to seeing you back soon!
