Halloween Card

Halloween Card created by @jbckadams for @scrapbookexpo #Halloween #cardmaking #Bellablvd

Becki-Adams-headerWelcome! I’m glad you found your way to Weekly Scrapper for another edition of Inspiration Station. Today I have a Halloween card to share with you. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, and I LOVE making Halloween cards! The card I created for today’s post is from Bella Blvd‘s new Spooktacular collection. I started with the Spooktacular 6×8 paper pad, a 2″ square punch and an A2 card base that I created with a piece of patterned paper from the Spooktacular collection.

Then, on the front of the card I created a grid with 9 squares that I punched from the patterned paper pad.

On the lower right portion of the grid, I adhered a die cut spider using foam adhesive. Then I embellished around the spider with a few orange sequins.

Before I adhered the grid to the front of the card, I added an orange and white chevron ribbon to the card base. After tying the ribbon into a bow, I added a silver glitter button.

The last step was to add the grid to the card base. This would be a great card to mass produce. Tons of cards could be created with this same technique and one 6×8 paper pad.

Do you create Halloween cards? I’d love to see what you’ve made!
