Handmade Valentine’s Day Cards

Becki-Adams-headerThe countdown is on, Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! On today’s Inspiration Station I’ve got two Valentines to share with you. I used the new Crate Paper collection (Hello Love). I love making cards especially for Valentine’s Day – who doesn’t love to get a handmade Valentine on Valentine’s Day? I know I do. I created both of these cards on a white card base with patterned paper and embellishments.

This card has several die cuts layered on patterned paper. I used lots of dimensional foam adhesive to add depth and interest to both of these cards.

What do you think? Do you send out handmade Valentine’s Day cards? Who do you send them to?

Join me next week when I’ll have a quick and easy Valentines treat box that I know you’ll love.

I send out quite a few Valentine cards. I think people like to be remembered and for me (mostly) it has nothing to do with romance or sweethearts – I send them to my sister, my mother – quite a few family members and friends.
It’s just a nice little way to let someone know you are thinking of them, they are colorful and they always look so inviting and “friendly” to me – they induce happiness and a smile.

I completely agree, Rebecca! I don’t think of Valentines as a solely romantic holiday either. I think it’s fabulous that you show loved ones you’re thinking of them by sending Valentines cards.
