Saturdays With LeAnn

Happy Winter Friend

I want to be the first to wish all of you a very Happy New Year!  As 2016 comes to an end, I want to say thank you for supporting us on Weekly Scrapper.  It has been such a blessing for me to have you become friends and follow me on Saturdays.  I appreciate your kind words and friendship.  I hope you all have a wonderful New Year and may you find peace, love, and happiness in 2017.

Baby It’s Cold Outside By Tarrah McLean

This adorable baby layout is one that will steal the heart of any new mother.  What a darling way to capture the photo and keep it as the main interest of the layout.  This is so perfect for a newborn winter baby!  I just love the colors and all of the details of this layout.  Whether you just had a baby or a new grand-baby, this is one of those layouts you will definitely want to create!

Baby It's Cold Outside

I am going to let you in on a secret – the best part of this layout is… this is a kit!  This is so fun and easy to create! Click here and I will take you over to the Live to Scrap Scrap to Live blog where you can find more details by Tarrah on how this was put together.  Enjoy creating!

Happy Winter Friend By Betsy Veldman

This card really brought a smile to my face, and I am sure it will do the same to the one who receives it.  Nothing is better than staying inside on a cold winter day.  I love to be in where it is warm and spend time at my craft table creating fun winter cards.

Happy Winter Friend

This fun card is also a wonderful way to say “Thank You” for that special Christmas gift you received.  This is so dang cute!  Make someone’s day and mail one of your handmade treasures! Everyone loves to receive a card in their mailbox.  Let me escort you on over to Betsy’s bog “Paper, Scissors, & Superheros” where you will find the products and steps on how to create your own winter snowman card.

Decorated Boxes By Bronwyn Eastley

No matter what season it is, or what occasion is coming up, boxes are always great to have. Whether they are party favor boxes, gift boxes, jewelry boxes, home decor boxes, celebrations boxes, or so many more, who could go wrong by having some on hand.  With your own personal touch these beautiful boxes will be treasured forever!

Decorative Boxes

Don’t be intimidated by the beauty of this box.  I promise they really are simple to make.  Depending on what you add to your box, you can go from fun, to fancy, or even to elegant.  Let me take you on over to Addinktive Designs where you will see all of the details on this beautiful box.  Bronwyn used the Window Box Thinlits Die from Stamping Up to create her gorgeous box.  Have fun creating some of these of your own!

Peppermint Hot Chocolate By Elizabeth LaBau

This peppermint hot chocolate recipe is easy to make with just a few simple ingredients, and it is a great way to warm up on these chilly winter nights!  With the weather being so cold here in Utah, my favorite thing is to make is a cup of this peppermint hot chocolate and snuggle on the couch by a warm fire to keep warm.

Peppermint Hot Chocolate

This hot chocolate has a rich texture and just the right amount of peppermint flavor.  This is definitely one you will want to share with your friends!  Let me escort you on over to Sugarhero so that you can get your recipe and instructions by Elizabeth.  Great for any cold day, or when you get that hot chocolate craving.  Enjoy!

As the new year approaches, it is a great time to dedicate some time for yourself each week to do the things you love to do.  I wish you all a happy, productive, and creative New Year!
