Hello, my crafty friends! Thank you for spending a bit of your Saturday with me. My hope today is that you will jump into trying something new. Most important, have fun and enjoy your creative road. I hope you will enjoy the spring projects that I have to share with you today!
Don’t you just love all of the layering and the mixed media background that Maryana has used to create this lovely layout? What a great way to take a piece of white cardstock and turn it into a gorgeous page using the Blue Bay and the Ma Cherie collections by Kaisercraft. Maryana really shows how the layering complements her photo. One thing to keep in mind is that a background should take a back seat to your photos. Allow your photos to be the focal point of your layouts.
Layering is such a great way of using up some of your scraps. Layering will also give some dimension to your layout. I would like to say thank you to Maryana Volkova for sharing her beautiful design with us. I hope you have been inspired to do more layering while creating your layouts.
Do you have spring fever? Today’s fabulous card will capture that spring feeling you are looking for. I just love to make cards! I enjoy the way they can be created very simply or taken up a notch with more details added. The best part of creating cards is to share them with the special people in your life. Now is the time to share your spring creation, so push that cold, chilly day away by giving a card to your friends and family!
Olga used vellum and white and ivory cardstock along with some inks to create this fabulous spring card. Click here for a terrific step-by-step video tutorial for this project. Be sure to visit Building Your World for more wonderful inspiration from Olga Direktorenko.
I just love Easter and this time of the year. When I discovered this whimsical card created by Michele Boyer, I knew I just had to share it with you. It is a perfect time to pull out your markers. Easter images are always so fun to color, and bring that spring feeling into the air.
This fun basket of eggs was created using Easter Wishes stamps by Taylored Expressions. This card is one that you can make into a sweet Easter, Birthday, or Get Well card, and many more. Take the time to visit Paper Cuts where you will see many more outstanding cards by Michele Boyer.
With spring just around the corner, this fun bouquet will add a touch of sunshine to your home. These fun burlap flowers are so impressive and inexpensive, plus they will last forever! They are such a great choice because you can make them in several colors or sizes.

All you need is: 1 cup of your favorite flavored yogurt, fresh fruit, crumbled chocolate cookies, and sprinkles. That is it! Now you have taken some simple yogurt and transformed it into an irresistible treat! Thank you to Roxana Yawgel for sharing this with us. Enjoy!
