Hello my crafty friends and welcome back to Weekly Scrapper! I hope you’re ready to create something fun today because I have some great projects to share, so sit back, relax, and let the creative therapy begin. Let’s start with this adorable recipe box designed by the Bo Bunny Design Team.
Recipe box
Are you familiar with Bo Bunny’s project kits? They are the instant gratification of paper crafting, Bo Bunny really has taken all the guess work out of creating the perfect project. They are wonderful for when you are scrapping on the go. Instead of breaking out the rolling totes, picture this: while everyone else is rolling in the wagons imagine their surprise when you walk in with a shoulder tote or two and walk out with this great project. Since all the kits have just about everything you need to create a complete project, all you need to gather are some basic supplies and you are good to go. Have fun showing off at the next craft day with your friends!
Here’s a peek at the inside. What a beautiful way to preserve those treasured family recipes.
These fabulous kits just became available online and in stores last month! Click here and I will be happy to take you over to the Bo Bunny blog so you can take a closer look at the different project kits available. You might want to grab your credit card as I’m sure you will find one or two kits that you NEED in your life. 😉 Be sure to check out the Beach Therapy mini album, it’s sooo cute. Just thinking out loud here, but the Beach mini album would make a perfect gift for your BFF filled with pictures of that best ever weekend at the beach.
Don’t Let The Rain Dull Your Sparkle
Who says simple can’t be amazing? I believe it was the gorgeous watercolor background and the inspirational sentiment that first caught my eye. “Don’t Let The Rain Dull your Sparkle” – what a perfect sentiment to offer some encouragement to someone in need of a hug. The stamp set is titled Sparkle In The Rain and can be purchased through Visible Image; click here and I will be happy to take you over for a visit.
I hope you’ve been inspired to break out your favorite stamps and create one of your famous handmade treasures. Who wouldn’t be smiling from ear to ear after receiving this heartfelt card in the mailbox? I know I would. Keep up the great job of spreading those smiles one handmade card at a time!
Thank You card by JJ Bolton
With spring right around the corner, I thought you might enjoy this gorgeous card designed by JJ Bolton. I love that not only is this card visually stunning but that it can be used for so many different occasions. I know it looks a bit complicated but it’s easier than it looks. JJ used the Falling Dogwood Blossoms Craft Die which is a generous 4.25 X 5.5 inches in size and covers an entire A2 size card front. How perfect is that? 😉 No guesswork necessary. The sentiment is from the Hope and Thanks stamp set which has 18 stamps that you will use time and time again.
I know you’re wondering how JJ painted the blooms so that they line up perfectly through the die cut, right? Well, wonder no more, click here and I’d be honored to take you over to the Poppy Stamps blog so you can take notes on JJ’s great tips as she shares just how easily this beautiful card comes together.
Hot Cocoa Bar
Since there is still a chill in the air, I thought you might enjoy this fun version of a Hot Cocoa Bar. Whether you are having a kids play day or having a scrapbook day with your peeps, everyone is going to feel the love when dessert starts out with this sweet display.
It’s all in the fine details; click here and I will take you over to the American Crafts Blog so you can see the supplies Gina used to create this sweet display. Wouldn’t it be cute to make a gift basket for the hot chocolate lovers in your life?
HOISIN BEEF AND ASPARAGUS STIR FRY
This is one of those “shut the front door” recipes for me since Chinese food is my absolute favorite. This recipe is perfect for a week night dinner yet amazing enough to be served to company. Kudos to Sarah and Tim for shaving off a nice portion of the unwanted calories by making their own homemade Hoisin sauce. Hoisin, a Chinese barbecue-style sauce, takes only minutes to make at home from ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen.
I know you are excited to give this recipe a try so click here and I will lead the way over to the Curious Cuisiniere Blog so you can print out the recipe. Enjoy!
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a great week and I’ll see you again next Sunday!
