Saturdays-with-LeAnn

Hello, my friends!  I hope you all had a wonderful week and are ready for a relaxing and creative weekend.  I have some fun and inspirational projects to share with you today, so sit back, relax, and enjoy!

Cherish The Little Things By Alicia McNamara

I know you will enjoy this glorious layout from Alicia and I’m very excited to share it with you.  Alicia has such a beautiful and unique style; she inspires in so many different ways with her beautiful papers and embellishments. I always love the way she groups things in a way that draws your eye around the page.  Cherish The Little Things

Alicia’s design has a perfect balance with all of her beautiful elements.  I would love for you to come with me over to Time To Create where you will find a full tutorial on how Alicia created this beautiful layout.  She will share with you how she used her mists to add color to her background.  Thank you to Alicia for sharing your wonderful talent with us. Have fun scrapping!  🙂

Easter Greetings By Anne Kristine

I just love cards, and I save almost every one that has been given to me.  I love going through old boxes of cards and reading sweet, thoughtful messages that my friends and family have written to me.  With Easter just around the corner, I want to share this beautiful card that someone will definitely treasure forever!  I know this will give you some inspiration to start working on your own handmade Easter cards.

Easter Greetings

I love the soft, delicate, and vintage flair of this handmade treasure.  If you have been inspired as I was when I discovered this beautiful card on “Anne’s Paper Fun” blog, you will definitely want to check out more of her outstanding projects using collections from Pion Designs.  Have you been inspired to make and send a card?  Give one a try this week!

Thanks By Shari Carrol

Cards are all about letting those close to you know how much they are loved.  I often find myself wanting to send out thank you cards to express my gratitude for the big and small things that are given to me by friends and family. This sweet card is one that you can change the sentiment to “thinking of you,” “have a great day,” etc.  Can you just imagine the warm feeling that will come over the person who receives this one in the mail?

Thanks

Shari really has a gift for bringing her images to life with amazing coloring skills.  It is so fun to incorporate water coloring along with these beautiful die cuts.  Click here and you will find a video of the process on recreating this card by Shari. I hope you are inspired to send someone special one of your handmade creations.

Mini Storage Cabinet By Christy James

I also want to share a fun storage/organization cabinet using reclaimed wood.  Would you ever have imagined that something this cute would be made from an old wooden crate?  This is something you can hang on your wall or just sit on the counter.  It gives the room such a fun, shabby chic look and will also give you a small space to tuck things away.

This can be used not only for the bathroom but in any room of your home.  Create two then hang them on the wall for double the space and double the charm.  Let’s pop on over to Confessions Of A Serial Do It Yourselfer where you will find step-by-step instructions on how to create this fabulous mini storage cabinet.  Christy James is very talented from sewing, to painting, reinventing, rebuilding, craftiness and everything in between.  You will be so inspired by her projects!

Salted Caramel Apple Tart By Kelly Senyei

Do you love apples?  Today you are in for a real treat by Kelly Senyei.  This caramel apple tart is so fabulous and everyone will definitely want your recipe.  The ingredient list is not very long, and the savory flavors of buttery pastry, tangy apples, sticky sweet caramel, and sea salt is to dye for.  This is such a perfect combination that will be a real treat for your family and friends.

This is a recipe you don’t want to miss! For your ingredients and the recipe, visit Kelly at Just A Taste.  You will be so happy you paid her a visit.

I hope you have enjoyed today’s creations and that you have been inspired to begin your next project!  I am looking forward to sharing some more fun things with you next Saturday.  Thank you for stopping by, and have a fabulous week!
