Latest & Greatest: Card Making with Photo Play Paper

Hey everyone! Roree here with today’s Make It! Monday post.

Our next show is this week in Chantilly, VA on June 23rd-24th. Stamp & Scrapbook Expo will be teaching three “Latest & Greatest” workshops at this show: Card Making, Cool Tools, and Stamping. We have lots of great products from some awesome manufacturers in these classes, and today I am going to be working with products from our Card Making workshop: Photo Play Paper‘s Summer Bucket List collection.

If you take the class, you will receive a sampler with the following products—6×6 Paper Pad, Word Strip Stickers sheet, and the Ephemera pack:

I just love the fun, bright colors in this collection—perfect for any summer-themed project!

I like to use products in unexpected ways and when I saw the fireworks and bowling ball stickers on the Word Strip Stickers sheet, I thought that layered together they would make a great flower center.

I used the plaid side of the 6 x 6″ Cotton Candy paper to cut out some flower shapes. Then I layered the die cuts and stickers together with foam adhesive to create my dimensional flower.

I added a leaves die cut and button to complete the flower, before attaching it to my card front for a fun, little “anytime” kind of card.

This Latest & Greatest: Card Making workshop featuring Photo Play Paper’s Summer Bucket List collection will be taught at our shows in Chantilly, Duluth, Kansas City, Santa Clara, Edison, and Schaumburg. We would love to see you there!

I hope you enjoyed today’s Make It! Monday project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
