Hey everyone! Roree here with today’s Make It! Monday post.
Our next show is in Grapevine, Texas on March 31st – April 1st! Stamp & Scrapbook Expo will be teaching three “Latest & Greatest” workshops at this show: Card Making, Cool Tools, and Stamping. We have lots of great products from some awesome manufacturers in these classes, and today I am going to be working with one from our Card Making workshop: American Crafts‘ Creative Zen Coloring Cards & Markers.
I love that coloring has become a cool thing to do again. It definitely takes me back to when I was a kid. I would spend hours with my coloring books, crayons, markers, and colored pencils. It is just so relaxing and it is something that I really enjoy.
I started with the Floral 2 Thank You card pack, the Jewel coloring markers, and some coordinating colored pencils.
I outlined the flowers and leaves with the markers and used different shades of colored pencils to fill in.
To finish, I added some rhinestones to the small flower centers and added a bow to highlight the sentiment.
I haven’t colored in a long time, so I am sure there are techniques that I missed for getting better blends. But it was just so much fun working with these products that I can’t wait to play some more and improve my coloring skills.
