Latest & Greatest: Card Making with Echo Park Paper Co.

Hey everyone! Roree here with today’s Make It! Monday post.

Our next show is this week in Kansas City, MO on July 21st-22nd. Stamp & Scrapbook Expo will be teaching three “Latest & Greatest” workshops at this show: Card Making, Cool Tools, and Stamping. We have lots of great products from some awesome manufacturers in these classes, and today I am going to be working with products from our Card Making workshop: Echo Park Paper Co.‘s Wedding Bliss collection.

This collection contains such a wonderful variety of products. If you take the class, you will receive a sampling of items from the collection perfect for card making, including the 6×6 Paper Pad, Ephemera, and Mini Paper Fans:

With these products, I created this card:

I just love the rosettes in the Mini Paper Fans pack, but I wanted to dress them up a bit. So, I decided to remove the die cut in the center and add my own touch to this fun embellishment.

I die cut a heart shape from paper in the 6×6 Paper Pad and an ampersand from some black cardstock. I pulled out the “Forever Forever Forever” tag and the “mr. & mrs.” label from the Ephemera pack. I cut the label in half and assembled the pieces, along with a paper flower from my stash, to create my very own card embellishment.

I finished my adding the embellishment to my card base (created by layering papers from the 6×6 Paper Pad) with some gray baker’s twine.

This collection is so soft and pretty—just perfect for wedding cards, love-themed cards, and more!

This Latest & Greatest: Card Making workshop featuring Echo Park Paper Co.’s Wedding Bliss collection will also be taught at our upcoming shows in Santa Clara, Edison, and Schaumburg. We would love to see you there!

I hope you enjoyed today’s Make It! Monday project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
