Saturdays With LeAnn

Thanks

Hello, my crafty friends!  It makes my heart so happy that you still find some time to be creative and do the things you love with how busy your schedule is. I am blessed once again to have the opportunity to share some fun and wonderful projects with you today.  Sit back and enjoy the inspiration!

Living The Life By Amanda Baldwin

Have you ever tried adding textiles to your layouts?  They are a fabulous medium to use on projects and can include items such as lace, ribbon, pom poms, tulle, fabric squares, cotton/thread, sewing, weaving, buttons, and bows. And I am sure there are many more!  It really gives your layout some dimension and texture, not to mention what a fun and different look you’ll be able to achieve.  Never be afraid to add something different on your layout.  You will be so surprised how many fun ways you can use sewing items in your creating!

Living The Life

This layout was created using milliner’s lace, baker’s twine, pom pom trim, buttons, and ribbon as elements.  Amanda also used the Maggie Holmes Chasing Dreams collection. Adding some memorabilia can also be fun to remind you of cherished memories.  I am sure you would love to see more of Amanda’s wonderful projects so let me escort you on over to Paper Issues.  Amanda always has something fun and creative to share.

Thanks By Debby Hughes

Are you ready for another great color combo?  Debby picked such great colors and she never fails to amaze me with her beautiful coloring skills.  Debby used Prismacolor pencils since they are wonderful for a soft blending of color.  She accented a few areas with white gel pen and glitter pens, then cut the piece with a basic square die.  This is such a stunning card!  Don’t you just love the elegance of this card?

Thanks

This is one of those cards that make you want to jump right in and create one of your own.  Are you ready to begin?  Let me escort you over to the Lime Doodles Design blog where Debby will give you a full list of supplies used along with directions on how she created her beautiful card.  You will be over-the-top inspired by Debby, and you won’t want to miss out on any of her fabulous projects.

Indigo Skies Frame By Alicia McNamara

Here is a great DIY project!  Create a wonderful picture frame to display on a tabletop in your home.  If you are like me, I always love having pictures of my family sitting out.  What a great way to display them, and with a frame you have created that will get tons of compliments, too!  Alicia created this three-piece panel frame using the beautiful Indigo Skies Collection by Kaiser Kraft. This collection is so versatile that it can be used for boys or girls.

Indigo Skies Frame

Alicia has created a video showing the different techniques she used to make her frame.  She added some Abstract Triangles to add some texture to the frame, along with some background stamping.  She also fussy-cut some of the beautiful butterflies to decorate the frame. Don’t miss out on this one!  Come with me over to Time To Create where you will see Alicia’s video and every step to make one of your own.
