For You By Lorraine Aquilina

Incorporating water into your project can give it a unique look.  It can be an image of water, or water coloring, or just splashing water onto your creation.  Today’s beautiful card was created by using Oxide Ink Pads for Lorraine’s background, which gives a lovely chalky effect when splashed with liquid.  What a beautiful masterpiece!  Can you just imagine the look on your mom’s face when she opens up this gorgeous card?  I have to say those mason jars just finish the card. They always are lovely and make you feel happy!

I just love creating mixed media projects.  This adorable mixed media card is not only beautiful, but will sure to put a smile on your mother’s face on her special day.  Don’t you just love the gorgeous background with all of the beautiful spring colors?

Brenda added some fun embellishments using various Tattered Florals, Vintage Lace Decorative Strips, and topped it off with a beautiful seam binding ribbon.  Brenda added various mediums using paints and distressed inks to give it that rustic shabby chic look.  Let me escort you on over to Country View Crafts where you will find all the supplies you’ll need to create one of your own. Make a creative home decor project just by using an old window that you can find at a garage sale or thrift store.  It will make a great choice of decor for your wall.  Embellish this shadow box with a variety of decorative accents and some choice photos.  This will certainly be an eye catcher in your home.  The possibilities are endless, and the best thing about this it is one-of-a-kind!
