Hi there! Vicky here and I am so happy to see you here on our Wandering Planners day on the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo blog! How many of you subscribe to a monthly kit club? I absolutely adore Mommy Lhey; I follow everything she does on all social media platforms. I have been contemplating subscribing to her monthly planner kit club and bought this one time box to see if I should. Let me say that I was more than excited once I opened it up! Totally my aesthetic, bright and colorful and beautifully whimsical. Not to mention that it had cherries all over it and anything with cherries, I am all in.
It had one traveler’s notebook with notebooks inside, a cherry keychain, ephemera, stickers, zipper pouch, pen, bow clip, paper, acetate sheets, stamp set, and washi. Just amazing, to say the least!
I then used my cutest cherry zipper pouch to hold all of my stickers and washi. It was so fun to hang the fluffy cherry keychain on the front of the traveler’s notebook.
The traveler’s notebook is so fun and I adore the pocket to hold all of my extra goodies that I would like to add to each page. I used some of my own hot pink glitter paper and then reused the packaging which is the yellow cardstock to add flair. I found some black and white puffy stickers to write my name “Vickyville.”
On this page setup I decided to use it for a weekly planner spread. First I used my distress oxide ink in Twisted Citron to add color to the background. I used washi at the top as a sort of border and a small heart punch and my same hot pink glitter to highlight the daily stickers and the date and used pop dots to add dimension.
Last of all, I want to show you what I love doing most in my traveler’s notebook setups. I love to fill them up with positive reminders for myself such as “Flaws and all I love you!” or “Love this life!”
I truly have so much fun being creative and opening kits and seeing what I can come up with using the contents. I would love to invite you over to my YouTube channel where I will have a video sharing each page and how I used my traveler’s notebook. You can find me at VICKYVILLE.
Thank you for coming over to our blog and remember to have a rad and beautiful day!
See you soon! ❤️
