Happy spring, everyone! Another fabulous weekend is here and I hope you are enjoying some warm spring weather. I thank each and every one of you for sharing part of your day with me. I have some wonderful and inspirational projects to share with you today that come from very talented designers. Using Paper Strips To Design Pages By Amy Kingsford
Paper strips from your favorite collections can really showcase a layout, not to mention using up all the scraps from the papers that you love. They create a great place to start when it comes to creating your foundational layers. You can be creative and thrifty all at once! Using rows of strips can provide a backdrop for your photo and will add a lot of vibrant colors to your photo. In addition to serving as a foundation, the strips also contribute to the tone and theme of the page, helping to tell the story. Paper strips are a great use for all those paper scraps you just can’t throw away.
When scrapbooking you can also create a shelf to ground the photographs on your page. Stacking layers on layers will also give added depth to your page. I love the four different ways of using strips to create a page foundation that Amy Shares with us: 1) rows, 2) columns 3) brackets and 4) shelves.
