Sundays With Lorraine

Hello, my crafty friends, and welcome back to the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo blog! Today I will be sharing inspiration designed by some truly talented paper crafters, so sit back, relax, and enjoy a little creative “me” time; you deserve it.

From Scrapbook Layout to Card by Louise & Therese

Whether you consider yourself a card maker, mixed media designer, scrapbooker, planner girl, or a little of each, remember we are all one big creative family, we all use basically the same supplies. If you’re a cardmaker, you can use the same supplies for a scrapbook layout and if you’re a scrapbooker, don’t overlook the products designed for cardies. There is no reason you can’t have it all, right?

These beautiful stamped flowers are a perfect embellishment to use on all your paper crafting projects, I have even used several to embellish a gift box or bag.

I love how Altenew Layering stamps really take the guesswork out of shading; each set comes with both a background stamp and a detailed version of the same stamp. You are going to love them – the possibilities are endless!  Click here and I will take you over to their website so you can check out all the must-have stamp sets. You might want to grab a cup of coffee, you will be there a while.  😉

Easter Bunny Spinner Card by Jil Lebel

Have you had the opportunity to play with Art Impressions spinner sets?  I love that the mini spinner sets come with the stamps and matching die cuts.  It makes it really easy to attach the front and back images together, and the best part is there is no fussy cutting involved.

Another thing that I’d like to share is how Jill mixed and matched different products.  When coloring the adorable bunny and cup of flowers, she first colored the images with Copic markers then highlighted with Prismacolor colored pencils; I love the detail it added.  I hope you’ve been inspired to break out your favorite tools and create some magic. If we don’t play with our toys, we will never know what they are truly capable of.

Be Happy Card by Hannelie

Who wouldn’t be smiling from ear to ear when they open the mailbox to discover this beautiful handmade card. A little sparkle goes a long way and I absolutely love Thermo web’s Deco Foils?  Did you know that the foils can be used with or without a laminator depending on what you’re working on?  I highly recommend stopping by their website and checking out all the wonderful ways you can use this amazing product.

I love both versions; same product, two different looks, way to go Hannelie! Hannelie used the same layout and elements, just switching the rainbow from the background to the focal point and “bam!” a different look.

For additional inspiration and a complete supply list, click here and I will be happy to escort you over to the Desert Diva’s blog. Kudos to you for sharing those smiles one handmade card at a time.

Italian Sausage and Peppers by The Girl That Ate Everything

Growing up in New York, Italian sausage and peppers were always in our dinner rotation; real comfort food and oh, so easy to make. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do. You can serve it as is, or my family loves to serve the sausage and peppers on a bun, like a hot dog. Either way, your family will love it.

Click here and I will be happy to take you over to The Girl Who Ate Everything food blog so you can print out the recipe. Bon appetit, my friends!  🙂

Thanks for a great visit; I hope you have an amazing week ahead of you. I’ll catch you next Sunday. Hugs to all!.

I love it too, it’s by Art Impressions, did you notice it’s a spinner and the back is just as cute.
