Hello, my crafty friends, and welcome back to our blog! While searching some of my favorite crafting blogs I came across some great video tutorials by Bonnie & Kendra Krebs with Art Impressions. These two ladies are absolutely amazing and are always there to inspire their fellow paper crafters. As many of you know, Art Impressions has been long-time friends with the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo. You can always find the Art Impressions team sharing the passion of paper crafting at our shows. Not only do they exhibit at all 18 shows but they also offer some incredible workshops. If you ever have the opportunity to take a class I highly recommend it.
Art Impressions is a rubber stamp manufacturer based in Salem, OR since 1987. The company began as their sole designer, Bonnie Krebs, created and sold educational stamps at craft fairs around the Northwest. Soon, Bonnie was drawing whimsical images for crafting and her talent has grown over the past 30 years to become one of the major stamp illustrators in the industry today.
A unique characteristic of Art Impressions is its diversity of images and innovative techniques. Bonnie has created new and original stamping concepts, including Watercolor the Art Impressions Way, Windows to the World, Front & Backs, TryFolds, Shakers (featuring Action Wobbles™) and Spinners. These interactive techniques create beautiful and matchless ideas for special cards.
Bonnie and Kendra are famous for their mad skills when it comes to stamping the Art Impression way and you will be happy to know that there are 100’s of videos showing us the way. Whether you are new to this technique or a watercolor professional you’re going to love Bonnie’s introduction to Watercolor Stamping video.
Art Impressions is always looking out for us. If you’re new to stamping the Art Impressions way you are going to love the new starter bundle sets that just came out. Click here and I’ll take you over for a peek. This set includes the “Need It In Your Life” Flower & Foliage stamp sets along with an adorable container set – everything you need to start your first work of art.
Art Impressions is also known for their funny caricatures and hilarious text. The “funny people” began with the Golden Oldies line in the mid-90s and has grown to include new lines of Work and Play and Girlfriends stamps. The entire gang continues to make people laugh every day! If you enjoy sending a smile through the mail the funny people and Girlfriends are the way to go.
AI is also offering a bundle that includes everything you need to recreate this adorable winter scene – perfect for this holiday season. Easily build your watercolor collection with the Winter Swing with Cat bundle, comprised of the WC Swing Set, WC Branches Set, and WC Mini Critters Set. I love that we can purchase the sets in a bundle package and save a bit of money, which means more money for additional sets, right?
You are going to be amazed at how easily these pieces of art come together. Here is another video prepared by Bonnie. Pay attention to how flexible these stamp sets are, as Bonnie always says, only color the parts you need and you, too, can create different looks using the same stamp. Talk about bang for your buck!
How stinkin’ cute is this little winter scene? You guessed it, there is also a new bundle special on this set as well.
Today Art Impressions Watercolor collections are their most popular line, inspiring crafters to create their own artwork with watercolor stamping! Creating beautiful floral images is easy, especially when following the inspirational Watercolor Wednesday tutorials! I will warn you, these videos are extremely addictive, so grab your favorite drink, sit back in your comfy pants, and enjoy the endless inspiration.
