Latest & Greatest: Cool Tools with Spellbinders

Hey everyone! Roree here with today’s Make It Monday post.

Our 2019 show season is over, but I still have lots of fun products from the Latest & Greatest classes to create with. Today I am going to be using the Shapeabilities Reindeer Prance Layering Die Set from Spellbinders‘ 3D Holiday Vignettes Collection by Becca Feeken that was featured in the Latest & Greatest: Cool Tools workshop at our last six shows which included Edison, Marlborough, Mesa, Denver, Ontario, and Sacramento.

If you took the Cool Tools class, you received the Reindeer Prance Layering Set:

With it, I created this card:

First, I cut the Reindeer Prance background layer on the front of an A2 card. Then I cut out the background layer on the striped patterned paper and trimmed off the decorative lines from the die cut to create a window. Next, I cut out the front layer with the frame from white cardstock.

Lastly, I cut out the background layer with the frame and trimmed off the decorative lines from the die cut to make a solid frame from teal patterned paper.

I layered everything together, backed the scene with snowflake patterned paper, added some pearls to the tree, and added a tag sentiment to finish.

This is such a beautiful die set. You can use these dies on their own or with one of the many coordinating die sets like the Shapeabilities Grand Holiday Cabinet Dies, which are also from the 3D Holiday Vignettes Collection by Becca Feeken.

I hope you enjoyed today’s Make It! Monday project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
