Hey everyone! Roree here with today’s Make It Monday post.
Our next show is in Orlando, FL on May 17 & 18. Stamp & Scrapbook Expo will be teaching five “Latest & Greatest” workshops at this show: Card Making, Cool Tools, Planners, Scrapbooking, and Stamping. Today I am going to be creating with a new product from our Cool Tools class: the We R Memory Keepers‘ Pocket Maker Punchboard.
If you take the Cool Tools class, you will receive the Pocket Maker Punchboard:
The punchboard comes with instructions on how to use the tool and a sizing chart that tells you what paper size you need to create each pocket size with or without flaps.
I decided to create a 3 1/4″ square pocket with a notch. I found that size on the sizing chart and cut my paper to 7 x 4″
I placed the paper guides in the D and 2 position as it stated in the chart.
I placed my paper against the guides and trimmed top two corners with the cutting blade.
I folded out the scoring arms and scored the bottom and sides of the paper.
I folded and adhered the side and bottom flaps and notched the top of the pocket with the punch at the top of the tool to finish by pocket.
I added my pocket to the front of an A2 card and decorated it the papers and chipboard from Simple Stories‘ Life Documented collection.
This Latest & Greatest: Cool Tools workshop featuring the We R Memory Keepers‘ Pocket Maker Punchboard will also be taught at our upcoming show in Puyallup, WA. We would love to see you at one of these shows!
I hope you enjoyed today’s Make It! Monday project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
Oh my…that is just way too cute!
I will have to get this! Card is great!
Can’t wait for Orlando to get it:). Sooo excited to go and take all the many workshops so many and so little time! P S. I don’t even scrapbook!
Will it be given to participants in the Chantilly, Virginia Expo?
What a great tool.
That pocket maker is a pretty cool tool!
We received this at the Expo in Pomona, Calif. in April & it’s soooo cute! Pauline showed us how to use it in the class & we made a pocket. I love pockets & this tool is so easy to use!
That’s pretty neat. This can come in handy for little card or gift card holders. Might have to take the class in August. Can’t wait!!!!
Love this new tool. Well, new to me. Thank you for walking us thru how it works.
I hope to see this at Chantilly.
I like colours: dark (vintage) blue with yellow and coral. This pocket is very usefull for small items as money or other things.
