Sundays With Lorraine

Hello my crafty friends and welcome back to our Paper Affair blog. The end of our show season means the beginning of my holiday crafty and I am beyond excited to get started. While in search of some fun holiday ideas I came across a few projects that might just inspire you to make a trip to your happy place – the craft room, lol.

Snow Happy Together Layout by Tonya Prawitt

Doodlebug Designs has recently released the perfect collection for your Winter paper crafting, it’s appropriately titled Winter Wonderland. I love the cool colors and there is even some sparkle included in the line. Winter Wonderland has everything from gorgeous patterned papers to adorable stamps and dies and so much more. Be prepared to be amazed, this collection is huge. If you’d like to check out the entire collection click here and I will be happy to escort you over to Doodlebugs blog. Kuddos to Tonya for sharing her beautiful layout with us. Happy scrapping my crafty friends!

Grateful Heart by Norine

With the holidays fast approaching I’m reminded of all the special people in my life. I can’t think of a better way to let them know how priceless they are to us than to send them a handmade card. Thanks to our very creative friend Norine Borys and the amazing products at Altenew, you too can create your own stash of cards to share with those you love. Click here for a complete supply list along with detailed instructions sharing just how easily these sweet cards came together. Norine created all three cards using Altenew’s beautiful Grateful Heart Stamp, Die and Mask bundle. Kudos to you for sharing those smiles one handmade card at a time.

Holiday Signs by Jill

With a little help from our creative friends over on the Jillibean Soup blog and a few simple supplies you too can create your own unique Holiday Signs. You’ll be happy to know that Jillibean Soup offers pages of cut files to cover just about any occasion, click here and I will be happy to take you over so you can check out all your options. I’m just thinking out loud here but I think we might have checked off a few gifts for the upcoming holidays.

Chicken Florentine

With the holidays nipping at our heels, things can get a bit crazy but not to worry. Our friends over at the Kitchn food blog have our backs. You and your family are gonna love this delicious Chicken Florentine. The best part is that you can have this yummy meal on the table in about 1/2 an hour. This easy recipe doesn’t hold back on the cheesy cream sauce. However, it shows no restraint when it comes to the amount of vegetables, either, so don’t feel to guilty…Click here and I will lead the way over to Kitchn’s Blog so you can print out the recipe. This is one dish your family will be requesting time and time again.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope today’s creative therapy has inspired you to create a few of your famous holiday crafts. It’s appreciated more than you know.

Since our 2019 show season has come to a close, I wanted to remind you that we can still stay connected online.

Hugs, Lorraine
