Hello, my crafty friends, and welcome back to the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo blog. I can’t believe how fast our show season is flying by! There are only seven shows left for 2019, so I hope you’re planning to be at one of them. It truly makes my heart sing being able to craft with you in person at the Creativity Center, so gather up your creative peeps and start planning that much needed weekend away – you deserve it.
Let’s get today’s creative therapy started, shall we?
Good Times by Erica Rose
It’s time to break out your electronic die cut machine and put it to good use. Don’t you just love how the bold title supports the black & white photo perfectly on this beautiful layout? Erica used a Good Times cut file and cut the title using some white cardstock and then added a pop of color with Jillibeans Soup Garden Harvest collection. Now that you’re probably thumbing through that stack of paper packs you’ve been collecting, click here and I will take you over to Erica’s blog so you can take down a few notes. Kudos to you for being the queen memory keeper!
Puppy Planner Layout by Els
As soon as I discovered this adorable planner layout on Technique Friday, I knew I needed to share the inspiration. Els has done it again, she never ceases to amaze me with her many talents. If you would like to see how easily these sweet pages come together, click here and I will lead the way over to the blog so you can watch the video. I was so inspired by the video that I already have my shopping list ready to go when I hit the show floor in Schaumburg next week, the first things I’m going to pick up! The die is from Elizabeth Craft Designs and is appropriately titled Hearts & Pawprints. I am a huge fan of the Planner Essential line, I use mine more like a mini-album/memory keeper but there are all kinds of ways to use this must-have line. Click here and I’ll escort you over to the Elizabeth Craft site so you can check out the entire line. At the risk of being called an “enabler” 🙂 I highly recommend checking out the new Planner Essentials Christmas line and the Red Rose planner, they are stunning. Be prepared to be amazed.
Crustless Quiche with Summer Vegetables
With all of those gorgeous summer veggies available this time of year, I thought you might enjoy this yummy Summer Vegetable Quiche. I love the fact that I usually have all the ingredients on hand and don’t have to run to the store. It’s also a great way to use up that produce that needs to be eaten right away, I call it a “clean out the frig dinner.” Quiche sounds fancy but with a little help from Leanne and her amazing food blog, you’ve got this. Enjoy!
Our shows are in full swing now and you know what that means – it’s time to start planning that much needed weekend away with your creative peeps. Click here and I will be happy to escort you over to our website so you can check out our show schedule. With this many shows around the nation, the question is not what show you should attend, but rather how many shows you can attend!
Hugs, Lorraine
Thanks for sharing all the fun things. I grow veggies so I am going to make that quiche sometime soon. Such a quite dog layout too.
Hello Karen, Glad you enjoyed the post.
I’m going to try this yummy looking quiche for my card club. I’ll see you soon at Mesa’s Expo, have a nice day!
Thank you for showing all the fun things to do. Hope to see you in October.
