I am happy to report that our show season is in full swing and we all know what that means – it’s time to gather up your creative peeps and start planning that much needed weekend away. Are you a fan of coloring? There is nothing more relaxing than to break out your favorite coloring mediums and color. It’s one of my go-to ways to pass the time while flying from show to show. And what do you do with all these little pieces of art? Why not put them to good use and add them to a card front? Peet used Penny Black’s Appreciation stamp set; the stamp measures 3X4″ so it was perfect for a vertical layout.
Hello Sunshine by Lori
With all the cold, rainy, and sometimes snowy days that we’ve been having, I thought you might enjoy a little sunshine-inspired card. With a little help from our creative friend Lori Warren you, too, can recreate this little piece of art in no time. I highly recommend checking out the short video tutorial where Lori shares some basic mixed media tips. It’s easier than you think.
DIY Craft Ideas Vintage Found Treasures
While attempting to get a handle on my out-of-control craft room, I came across all kinds of small treasures that I can’t seem to part with. Well, what do you do with all the pieces of this and that? Why not put them to good use and create an adorable pin cushion to organize your pretty decorative pins? I’m thinking this would also make a unique gift for your crafty friends.
