Incredibly Grateful By Alicia McNamara
Do you have a tendency to struggle a bit when it comes to creating the perfect layout? I would like to think that I am not alone on this one. I don’t know what it is, but I usually tend to over think when creating my layouts. This layout has a lot of technique work on it such as stamping, ink misting, coloring, stickers, but most of all, it is all about the placement and design of this layout.
Today’s layout is fun and captures the contagious smile on this little one’s face. The title says it all: “Incredibly Grateful, Unbelievably Blessed.” It is also the perfect layout for any age. Let me escort you on over to Paper Crafts Secrets where Alicia will give you all the steps you will need to create this beautiful and fun layout. Be sure to see the video tutorial at the bottom of her blog to see every step that Alicia took to create her layout. You can also see a PDF of all the instructions and supplies to print out for yourself. Never be afraid to try something different. Have fun creating, my friends!
Miss Your Smile By Melissa Phillips
I don’t know about you but I am super excited that some warmer weather has finally arrived! This darling card reminds me of sweet flowers and warm breezes on a beautiful spring day. My challenge for you today is to take your stamps and let your imagination run wild. I just love how Melissa stamped extra flowers and adhered them using dimensional adhesive to create a bit of depth. Have you tried creating cards with double sentiments? Go ahead give it a try, it adds so much to your cards. This simply charming card will put a smile on anyone’s face and brighten up their day!

Painted Traveler’s Notebook By Lorilei Murphy
Planners are all the rage right now; have you had the fun of creating one yet? I have to admit at first I thought I would never get into creating them. However, getting together with some friends and creating my first one, I was bitten by the planner bug and have created many more. It is so fun! These are wonderful to keep your trips organized, and so simple you can keep on top of getting those trips organized. Of course, when your notebook interior is finished, you have to create a beautiful cover so you can display it all!
There are so many different ways of creating your existing cover. I love how Lorilei used stencils and acrylic paint to give her cover a unique and personal design. For an extra touch of fun, you can make a charm for the cover to add an extra bit of style. You will definitely pick up a few new tips and techniques to use on your cover by following Lorilei’s step-by-step instructions on how she created her cover. I recommend stopping by Rosey Posey Studio to see many more of Lorilei’s fabulous projects.
Carrot Cake Roll By Dorothy Kern
As if carrot cake with any twist isn’t good enough, let’s take heaven to a new level by creating this moist and deliciously fabulous cake. This spicy carrot cake is rolled up with cream cheese frosting for a dessert that will wow your family and friends!
Because the filling is so rich, this cake doesn’t need frosting, so just sprinkle it with powdered sugar. Let’s pop on over to Crazy For Crust where you will find this recipe and great step-by-step instructions. This is one roll you will want to make over and over again. You will never get tired of this delicious cake. Enjoy!
I hope you have enjoyed today’s projects and that you have been inspired to begin your weekend crafting. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a very amazing week ahead of you. I will see you back soon with some more wonderful projects to share!
Hugs,
LeAnn
