A stamping blunder? Every day! The other day I had a lovely completed card that I admired then dropped onto an open ink pad. Oops!
New to paper live stamping
I’m not giving up
I would love to have this
Never fails. I get more ink on me than the paper no matter how careful I try to be.
Love all crafts.
Oh wow, I would love that prize!! THANKS
The latest blunder I made was forgetting to put a birthday check in with the hand made card I made for my niece’s birthday today. Whoops.
Thank you for the chance. You are always so generous.
Inky fingers. Always inky fingers.
Two chances for Sharon because she always posts comments in her husband Brian’s name …. she should at least wait a few minutes!
I was working on my Christmas cards when my husband asked me to make a birthday card. I accidentally stamped Merry Christmas on the birthday card. Yikes!
Wow that some awesome giveaway, excited to be attending expo
A stamping blunder…when I taped some alphabet letters together to stamp a word, and two of the letters fell off the block as I was stamping them on paper.
I have completed a lovely card and realized i had done all the work with the card backwards. Oh,well, start over. Many many blunders. I still love cardmaking, blunders and all.
Wow this magazine is amazing. I’m sad that I haven’t heard of it until now!
I’m new to stamping (I know right!?) anywho would love this to get ideas and know how.
I’ve not heard of your site, would like the opportunity to join in on your fun. My blunder was I once stamped and started to color in and realized I’d stamped it upside down! Oh dear, senior moment.
Stamping Blunders…stamping Happy Birthday in a sympathy card, not noting and sending it out. Thank goodness it was a good friend and she got a laugh out of it.
Wonderful giveaway! I was creating a card using double sided tape , the stencil that I was using got stuck and destroyed the design….
Just found you tonight…and so excited I have!!!
I love this magazine!!!!! I would love 4 free issues!!! Thanks for the chance.
Stamping blunders- too many to list!
I’m always covered in ink so I think I’m doing something wrong- or else having a great time!
Completed a card and realized that I had stamped it the wrong way so it opened the opposite way it should have.
What a beautiful magazine! Oh crafty blunders are a daily occurrence. My latest was trying to cut a thin masking sheet in my scan n cut, total disaster!
I always love new ideas. And some of my best cards have been the result of a blunder
I recently joined a card making challenge and upon finishing, I attempted to stamp Happy Birthday on the card and did a pretty poor job! I was rushing. So I found a sticker and covered the “mistake”.
Would love to win this package.
Mixing ink colors… My pretty pink ink pad has a big ol blue spot now… An ugly reminder of my blunder everytime I use that ink pad. Haha
Blunder? Stamping the card backwards … more than once! I focus so hard on my design, I forget the basic step of making sure the card opens correctly!
Their covers have always been so inspirational. True works of art
Love the magazine. Sometimes it helps to see other ideas.
I dropped a stamp off my block onto a completed card! I am forever leaving smudges where they aren’t supposed to be too! Looks like a wonderful magazine!!
Underestimating how long it takes the ink to dry, so a perfect impression becomes smudged. 🙁
I own a lot of brand new stamp sets but struggle with coloring or stamping them straight. Bought a platform recently.
gorgeous! I would love a chance to win! Thank you and have a delightful day!
These look amazing! I just got back into card making. Abd I’d live to be able to use the products.
Just this week, knew I had to make a card for my boss (who has become accustomed to really cool cards) and was so busy my brain assumed it was a birthday card. Spent hours making a fantastic, funny flip card. Realized about 11pm that the next day was BOSSES DAY! Not birthday. Pulled off a pretty cool Bosses Day card but not as cool as that Birthday card ?
Blunder??? Must be my middle name! Made a great card for sister’s Bday….turned over to stamp my name on back (should do FIRST!)….accidentally glued front to work space…UGH!!!
What amazing new products. Love them.
I always have inky fingers and constantly get fingerprints everywhere!
Lots of blunders!! Trying to fix a blunder, only making it worse is my usual.
What a blunder? You mean like stamping a sympathy card “Happy Birthday” and not realizing it. Yep, I sent it! Thank goodness it was a good friend and they got a laugh out of it. EMBARASSING!!!
I was a demonstrator and was working with stamping on material with a little bottle with dauber of this special ink. The ink/paint was not coming out of the dumber so I squeezed the bottle hard. It exploded all over me, her table and her hardwood floors! I think that was my biggest stamping blunder! I thought I’d just die! Luckily the hostess found it funny.
I had a drawer full of goofed up cards. Cut them up one day and started over.
Stamping blunders….yikes…seems like every time i use a stamp i blunder, but I keep trying. Last one was a planner stamp I was using of my friends and it was new. I used her stamps, her platform and my ink. I pushed too hard on the platform and it totally smeared the ink for the date….all over my only piece of that paper that matched my layout. I used it anyway. Scrapping isn’t supposed to be perfect anyway,, right? 😉
I dropped a permanent ink pad on the carpet, and of course it landed inky side down!
I always stamped crooked or incomplete images before I started using a MISTI. Great prize, thanks for the chance to win!
I would love to win. Thanks for the chance to win.
What a fabulously fun and creative prize. Thanks for the chance to win it.
Please let me be the lucky expo friend that wins this prize!
I dropped a blood red Ink pad on the carpet. Can you say crime scene?
The following things have never happened to me, never, no sirree bob:
* I make a card that is slightly too big for the envelope so I carefully slice a bit off the FOLDED edge.
* I make a card and write a lengthy lovely personal message in it, then try to stamp “handmade by Karen” on the back and drop the stamp which bounces all over the back, leaving multiple partial images.
* The fine point tip of my glue bottle is clogged so I jab jab jab at it with a hat pin until I JAB completely through my thumb. Completely through. In one side and out the other.
* I made a lovely card front and pasted it to a folded card when I realize I have pasted a folded card to another folded card so now I have a three-page card! It was a new years card, so I used a pen to modify the last page to say “(And) Happy (Chinese) New Year (too!)”
Great Prize, thanks for the opportunity to win.
Oh Karen. You made my day.I needed that giggle. You win!!!!
A stamping blunder.?? Would making a card upside down be a blunder? Did I send it anyway? Yup!! It was a beautiful card.
Stamping blunder lol I have many! How much time do you have ???
Since I’m a stampaholic, this magazine
would give me lots of inspiration.
thanks. txmlhl(at)yahoo(dot)com
Well lets see. I have dropped the ink pad on the card; dropped the card on the ink pad; Stamped the words upside down, stamped the image upside down; had the stamp twist as I was stamping causing a blurred image; and last but certainly not least, got inky fingerprints on the card and didn’t notice until I was putting it into the envelope for mailing. Shesh! I was a total klutz when I first started using stamps. But I love this prize pack. Thank you for the chance to win it.
I’m probably not alone but I once spent a couple of days coloring in a succulent stamp that covered the entire card. When I adhered it to the card (VERY securely, by the way!) I realized I glued it upside down! Aaarrrggghhh! Well, I ended up scoring the back side and making kind of a tent card to sit on my desk. Oh well.
I am guilty of smudging on a few occasions when stamping, and also grabbing the wrong marker when coloring and using the wrong color as a result. These goofs happened recently with some Halloween projects I am working on. Also, I had a mini heart attack the other night trying to find a Halloween stamp set that I had misplaced (although now it’s been found. But like most blunders, I always somehow recover, and if I do have to start over, I make the second time around even better.
Just the other day I was stamping some sentiments with black VersaFine and got some on my fingers, I didn’t know I did, and picked up a totally finished card front and got a big fingerprint on it.
My worst blunder so far, I am new to this craft, is making a beautiful card only to find I had made it with the card opening backwards…..awkward.
Always wear my ink! Love the chance to win
Great giveaway
I’m still an enthusiastic newbie- so tons of blunders. Dropped ink, inky hands which of course lead to inky projects & smears- so many smears!
I learned how to create scenes by stamping from reading RSM back in the day. My biggest stamping blunders usually involve forgetting to mask something. Thanks for this opportunity!
Great prize! I have made quite a few stamping blunders, I once used the wrong ink for heat embossing, what a disaster!
Carol B
I’ve made every mistake possible. I especially hate when I move the stamped image slightly in between layering. Ug!
Blunders! My usually include a beautifully completed project and a full and perfectly blended cup of coffee. Somehow those two items seem to find each other. It really is a fatal attraction for them both.
My blunder . . . I was mass producing a Forth of July cards for family and friends. I finished the cards and began to stamp the inside. I was halfway done when I realized I stamped them upside down (ugh). I had to cut the card in half and attach it to a other card base. Hopefully, I will never do that again!
I used to stamp years ago, but lost interest. I have just recently learned how to use the stamps by using watercolor markers. Wow, what a difference between now and then. I love it.
Love these. Very creative.
After carefully stamping and coloring an image for the front of a card, I was so happy with it … until I saw I glued it on upside down! ?
My biggest stamp blunder (and it occurs way too often!) is dropping a beautiful, finished card, onto my open stamp pad! Ugh!
Your magazine looks so amazing! Stamping blunder: sometimes I have forgotten to remove a little cling stamp from my block before putting on another one and as a result stamp both images on a card ???
When I first started with distress oxides, I am ashamed to say how long it took me to learn how to dry them! I kept smudging everything and thinking it was on my hands instead of the ink being wet!
I have had so many, it’s hard to count. Hmm, got ink from block onto card, now it will be distressed with ink. Missed part of the image, ok, now we add a layer. Ink bled, well now it will be the watercolor look. Oops, over stamped, a beautiful embellishment goes there. ??
I LOVE RubberStampMadness!!! Thank you for this chance to win! My latest blender is also my most common… taking the inky stamp to paper and oops! I touch the paper with part of it before I’m ready and don’t get a clear image. A fail every time. ?
Fabulous that they are
still going strong! Love
seeing actual magazines.
Carla from Utah
Whoops! Biggest problem
is using something and putting
it done and then can’t find it
to use like a minute later!

New to paper live stamping
I love this magazine it is so inspiring!!!
My biggest blunder is always the same. It doesn’t stamp right, so I try to line it up and stamp again. Always always always offline, so it has a shadow. Although, one time that worked to my advantage and looked like I had actually made a shadow on my fairy, like I knew what I was doing when coloring. ? Thanks for this wonderful opportunity. I’m surprised I hadn’t heard of this magazine. ???
Can’t wait to check out this magazine!! As for stamping blunders, I’ve had many. On more than one occasion: stamping my name upside down on the back of the card.
I’ve never read this magazine before. Would love the chance to win this and learn new techniques.
Such a great prize! My blunder is dropping an open ink pad on my almost finished card.
Biggest blunder – an anonymous friend, knowing I was into scrapbooking, left a big pile of back issues of your magazine on my chair at the office. I packed them home, thumbed through a few issues and decided they weren’t about scrapbooking so I took them to the library. Now I’m into stamping and would love to have that stash back. I’ve even checked our local bookstore to see if they had current copies of the magazine. Not there so I assumed you were out of print. So happy to see you’re alive and printing! A chance to redeem my blunder.
Love the inspiration in this magazine. I’ve had a lot of ink blunders. Dropping VersaFine face down on the carpet is the biggest. Luckily the carpet is old and we are planning to replace it.
How fun it would be to win a great prize! Thanks and I wish I could check out the expo more’
What a great prize. I always need new ideas for my stamps.
Cool prize!
Many ink blunders – dropping the ink spots onto my paper so there is now a square edge … made it work tho by “dropping” it a few more times. Inked my dogs paw – he ran off. Putting a darkly inked stamp I THOUGHT was clean onto a bright pink pad and polluting it. UGGGG so many. Still love the art form tho!
I always end up with more ink on me than on the paper lol
Dropped ink on the floor. Hand sanitizer to the rescue! Not a spot left.
I have had ink get on my fingers and after adjusting my glasses, it was on my nose, cheek and ear. Didnt realize it until I was getting ready to shower!
Been reading since 1987. Always had the information I wanted. great art work.
I took some of my stamping supplies to a women’s retreat. Turned around to see my friend beginning to apply reinler (in the wrong color!) to my favorite ink pad! Fortunately I caught her in time to keep it from being ruined.
I’m just starting out with stamping and would love a chance to win this! My biggest blunder so for is thinking I’m not going to make a mess and always do! I tend to forget that there is ink or some kind of medium on my work surface and I will lay something I planed on using in my mess! Seems to happen a lot! Thanks again for this chance
Great prize!
I was making a birthday card and didn’t get enough pressure on the middle of the stamp. So it said ”Hap irthday”
My stamping blunder is always the same: not enough ink transfers from the stamp, usually in the center or along an edge. I haven’t invested in a stamping tool yet so I either don’t stamp or I stamp and have a poor quality transfer. Need to remedy that!
This is a great prize!!
My daughter and I make cards and sometimes things go wrong, once water spilled over and almost completed card for my sisters birthday. We have a lot of tolos but sometimes we are not sure how to use them. this would be a great addition to our supplies. My daughter is disabled and she help support herself with selling her thing at craft fairs.
Incredible prize package! I love looking at stamping magazines!
No novice or professional craft creator is Blunder-less! To the novice or tight budget creators we learn to turn blunder-less into blunder-ful…….or, close to it! lol
Very new to paper crafting/scrapping anything so blunders outweigh good endings ? I have learned how to replace a blunder with foam tape and sentiments on nicely die cut piece…yep covers almost anything! I so need (want) to win this wonderful prize….pplleeezzze?
Craft blunder-less doesn’t exist……right?
I’ve had plenty of stamping blunders, not enough ink on the stamp, dropping the inked stamp on the card I’m making…
I love stamping & I still need some guidance to do better. this prize pack would be very helpful .
I’m newer to stamping so I always make mistakes! Often i think I’m doing great and then discover that i glued the front of the card upside down!
Just got back from Ontario show. It was great. I would love to win this prize. God Bless you
Two years ago, I was offered this fabulous opportunity to teach card classes in Tuscany! I was a replacement teacher, and only had 6 weeks to prepare. One of the cards I designed used an embossing powder technique, so I purchased 3 sets of outlet plugs suitable for Italy and brought 3 heat guns for class. I turned on the heat gun during my demo, and it went on and then off. After fiddling around with it, I tried again, but it was dead. Repeated with each gun and each outlet plug. Then we realized it wasn’t the outlet at all, but the voltage! We use 220V, and Europe uses 110! So embarrassing! And, most of our hair dryers were permanently attached in our rooms, so the students had to share one, very low heat hair dryer to complete their projects. Ugh!
I would love this prize, especially the magazine! I could use more confidence when it comes to stamping and I’m sure the magazine would help.
What a great prize! I am relatively new to stamping and ideas and tips are always welcome!
Oh what a wonderful prize! I have made a card where I made it so it opened backwards! A big oops!
Looks like a lovely prize. My stamping blunder that seems to happen often is getting ink on my hands and then getting it on my beautifully completed card. I now try to keep baby wipes near me when I’m stamping.
I love this magazine! So many great ideas and wonderful photos. I don’t enter very often for a prize, but this one is an exception! Thanks for the chance to get these neat craft items.
I made a beautiful birthday card with handmade flowers and layers and ink blending, all the bells and whistles. This card was for a special friend and it was going to be over the top! My last step add a few Nuvo drops… give the bottle a little squeeze and the nozzle is blocked, squeeze a little harder and ? the nozzle pops off a Nuvo glitter drops plop out all over the card.
Just yesterday I inked the wrong side of stamps a few times on my stamping platform. Thank goodness for baby wipes.
I would love to win a subscription to RSM!
Great prize. Blunder.. huh. I try to look at any blunder as an opportunity to create. It’s art. Imperfection is ok.
I’ve had many blunders; like getting ink all over my cards and stamping my name on the back upside down.
I have used the wrong ink stamping and ended up smearing the sentiment on a card. A lesson learned!
Who doesn’t love a little ink on their fingers and hands?
What an awesome giveaway!
I forgot to stamp the sentiment before I adhered the paper to the card. After I stamped it, I realized I did it upside down!
I’ve been a subscriber for years and would welcome a year’s extension to my subscription! Or would share it with someone else if it needs to be a new subscription. Blunder, as others have said, stamping the card and discovering it was upside down on the card!
How is stamping upside down on a card for a blunder?? Great prize, too! Thanks so much for the chance to win it:-)
I’m a big fan of Rubber Stamp Madness. I would love to win the prize pack, especially the year’s subscription.
I just hate it when I am going to stamp some really pretty paper and the stamp slips out of my hand and lands where I didn’t want it to.
WOW!! Thanks for chance to win.
Wonderful giveaway! I am new to stamping. So far my biggest blunder is not putting enough ink on the stamp.
I love crafting magazines, I love the beautiful projects they showcase, learning techniques, and finding wonderful products and inspiration. There is just something about holding the magazine and turning the pages that cannot be replaced with a computer. I flag pages I want to go back to for an idea or to use as a page map, it would be great to add a new magazine to my shelves.
Great prize package! I have never subscribed to their magazine, but have bought several from the store. Very unique ideas. My blunder? Just this weekend, and I know better! Forgot to use the powder pouch when embossing and ended up with “dots” I didn’t want all over the front of the card!
I love magazines that show new techniques it is hard to get a physical magazine anymore thank you for the chance to win this,
Ink smudges from inky fingers is obe of my common blunders.
Hahaha! I have had many a stamping blunder. From spelling mistakes to poor alignment, I have had to get creative (more creative?) in trying to figure out what to do to fix them. Lol!
I love the Scrapbook Expo and all of these products!
Putting a ‘front’ on a card to complete it only to discover I applied it to the ‘back’ of the card – oops! Thanks for a chance to win this great prize!
Ugh! I’ve dropped my inked up sentiment stamp right onto my all but finished card front.
I’d love to win this great prize! The last time I was using rubber stamps I used the wrong ink and when I added watercolor everything smeared. I’ve now separated my stamp pads so it doesn’t happen again.
I am so excited for this prize, I so would love this magazine ….. I think I need to start getting it!! Thank you for bring an awesome product to my attention!!
Awesomeness!!!!!
My stamping blunders are opportunities to use my stash of embellies!
I’m just getting started in stamping and I would love the opportunity to try out your product firsthand! An awesome prize, thank you!
One time, I was using cling stamps which had some tiny pieces. I set one down, then couldn’t find it when it came time to use it. I looked through everything, even going through the trash. It even got so frustrating that I almost bought another stamp set. Several weeks later, I dropped one of my ink pads and it landed upside down. Guess what? The missing stamp was stuck to the bottom of it!
Love RSM. Does it have any articles on how to be a more organized stamper?
Never fails. I get more ink on me than the paper no matter how careful I try to be.
For some reason, I have dropped my fully inked stamp on my project. AGGRAVATION!
Wow, looks like a fun prize pack – I love their magazines!
I guess I should read the instructions better! So once when I was first starting out, we were at a Stampin’ Up demo party and doing a make-n-take card – I lost the pieces that go on the front of the card and couldn’t find them anywhere. Turns out I had forgotten that I stopped to take off my sweatshirt in the middle of the project, the pieces were stuck to the front of my shirt, turned inside out. It was nice outside so I didn’t put the shirt back on when we left, so I didn’t find them until I went to use that sweater again two weeks later.
Dreaded blunder that happens often: Rubbing my face and forgetting that I have makeup on, then touching a completed card!!! Yep, my fingerprint(s) are now on file in my discard file (no pun intended). Somebody needs to invent a solution to remove makeup from cardstock!!
Love this magazine and those are pretty colors for embossing powder!
Too many blunders to mention, always. Lately, I seem to cover myself in embossing powder. If I don’t shower before I go to work or out, I sparkle!
I could never line up a stamp correctly until I got my Stamp Platform so everything was always misaligned.
Blunders? Yes. Using too much glue so it’s all over everything. Stamping the wrong side or upside down.
Stamping a whole scene & then stamping the last image crooked.
My technique was fine but that stamp itself had a typo! Ruined several Christmas cards before I noticed it.
Awesome giveaway! I hate it when I stamp something crooked and get ink spots on my cards from my hands. This has happened many times…
Great giveaway. I double stamped a sentiment on a card after it was assembled. Quick fix, I put another sentiment over it on a piece of cardstock and popped it up. Now I use my stamp platform to get it just right.
Great giveaway! I have stamped up side down and often get ink on cards in
places I don’t want.
So. Many. ?♀️
I guess most recently was dropping the ink pad onto my card. Waaaa. But am opportunity to start over and craft some more. Always a bright side!
I forgot to put the lid on Embossing powder and turned on the heat gun was not a pretty picture!
Leaned over my project to get a better perspective and ended up leaning into my ink pad.
They have offered a super nice prize for 25 people. I hope there will still be a drawing for the rest of us. I love stamping!
I have stamped the sediment upside down after completing the card. Also have spilled a bottle of glue all over a custom wedding card which took several days to complete!
My ongoing blunder would be to drop the inked stamp, either if I’m holding it or it’s “stuck” to the plastic platform with spongey legs and then I get half and partial stamp prints on any and old surface, on the card or not.
Yes, please!!
Just this past Monday was doing a make and take at our Paper Crafting with Friends event …one of those cards you put pieces of paper on different #’s….obviously do not know the name of the technique and probably won’t do again?.. . When I turned it around, tape was sticking out everywhere. ? The prize looks awesome!
I would love to win this…because watercoloring is my favorite. I would love to try your product.
Stamping blunder…that’s why there’s two sides to paper right!! ?
I’ve always loved the beautiful stamped things I’ve seen but I never knew how to do it. I finally took a class and I am hooked. My blunder was waiting so long!
Sean, thanks for the reminder! This is a great gift and awesome product! Bold statement!
Blunders? Many…. last one was attaching a card front on the wrong direction. Cut it off & then had 2 classy layers. Better than before!
Great prize!
Me! Pick me!
My rubber stamping fail is using an older stamp and the rubber stamp piece falling off during use! It’s especially aggravating when I’m trying to line the stamp up!
Thanks for the chance for the giveaway!
Blunders! So many I am not the best stamper, ruined many cards by the image being crooked. I stopped stamping out of frustration but I have returned to card making and stamping. Would love to win this as I am just starting up again and have very few stamps. (gave them all away a couple of years ago. Thanks
My blunder – stamped an image with a person with no face. I have face stamps to add on for those stamps. Stamped the face upside down. TWICE. I had to laugh at myself and just move on.
Pretty sure every card I stamp has an ink fingerprint(s) on it somewhere. Guess I’m just leaving evidence of it being “hand”made! ???
My blunder: stamped the programs for my wedding, embossed, then beautifully colored in-with the wrong kind of markers. Ink bleeding everywhere on guests clothes AND my wedding dress!
Great gift!
I’m not eligible for the gift (I work at RSM) but I LOVE that RSM is giving the prize, plus 25 free magazines (to those who responded on Day 1) AND is offering a code for $5 off subscription price (just contact them through the website: rsmadness.com). I think my biggest blunder is not being timely in getting stamped cards out in the mail! I have so many people I want to send cards to. Thanks, S&S Expo for the fun partnership with RSM!
new to stamping, blunder but fingerprints on everything and gluing the stamp picture the wrong way on the card
I have, more than once, stamped my stamp UPSIDE DOWN and ruined my entire card or page. So frustrating, but all you can do is laugh.
I would love to add this to my collection. Love having new stuff and doing new things.
My biggest an most frequent blunder is stamping upside down. You would think one would learn after the first time or two. I try to remember to my images before I do any kind of assembly which helps. Thank you for the chance to win a great prize pack!
Awesome giveaway so great. I’m new but I’ve put too much ink sometimes. Then,I have to do it again.Happy day!
