I have attended many baby showers these last few months, so I have created a lot of baby cards. I found this precious card on LilyBean’s Paperie made by Melissa Philips. I just love Melissa’s designs and always find such wonderful inspiration from her. Be sure to visit her blog you will be so glad you did.
Today’s card was made using the Shadow 6 Up frame stamp from Darkroom Door. Start by stamping the images using watermark ink onto patterned paper, then emboss them using Zing Blush embossing powder. Emboss a small portion of the Shadow 6 Up Frame using the French Manuscript Background stamp with silver embossing powder.
Machine stitch between each box to create a visible grid. This will give you a square to fill in with embellishments and photos. The photos in the Hello Baby Montage are so darling so we used a few of these. Sand and distress each one and add them to some of the squares. The stamped sentiment on the tea-stained tag is from the Hello Baby 1 stamp set, combined with the Venetian Word-Strip.
Now the fun part is adding some embellishments, vintage trim, sheet music, sequins, buttons, tulle, washi tape from Freckled Fawn, and flowers.
What a fun and inspiring stamp set. I would like to Thank Melissa for sharing her adorable baby card with us. This was such a fun card to make. I hope you will give it a try.
Creativity involves in breaking out of your traditional style. Take a look at your project in a different way, and never hesitate to try something new.
Thank You for visiting and have a very creative day!

This card is so sweet but can’t you do something that doesn’t cost a ton of money. I’m on Soc Sec and not a lot of money coming in but I love to do things like this, trying to get some ideals
Hi Nancy, I appreciate your comment. We hope to inspire you with our postings, not necessarily sell anything (we don’t make any money from the articles we post). I encourage you to use the supplies you have! If you don’t have the exact paper or stamps, change the design to use what you have. I take inspiration all the time from others designs – even when I want to make something exactly like the original designers, I always end up making it “my own” in some way.
