If you take embossing folders and combine them with Design Memory Craft Gelatos, the effect will be so amazing!

Here are some steps for making this stunning card.

1. You will need white card stock and an embossing folder (any design)

2. After you emboss your cardstock, begin choosing the Gelato colors that you wish to use. Having a broad range of colors in different shades is always useful because you never know what direction your creativity will take you. For this card using the Guava Gelato for the background, apply a bit of color on different places and create the watercolor effect by using the Water Brush .

3. Rub the Gelato Gold Champagne gently on the embossed parts. Don’t push the stick too hard. The color glides easily onto the paper and the effect is stunning.

Here is a close up. The golden pigment was not dissolved because of the wonderful vintage distress look it created.

4. Take a piece of light brown cardstock and apply Gelato Gold Champagne color to the edges. Don’t dissolve it with water but rub it gently with your fingers to create a shimmering edge.

5. Using the Water Brush and Gold Champagne Gelato add brilliant shimmering effect to the butterflies.

To finish off the design, add brown pearls to your card.

So not only did you have fun creating with the Gelatos, but you now have a priceless card that you created.
