Hey, everyone! Roree here with another Make It! Monday project. Today I am sharing a pocket-front card I created using Fancy Pants Designs Happy Place collection.
This collection has great papers and such fun embellishments. There are so many tags in the Tag Pack, I knew I wanted to use more than just one on my project. That is why I decided to create pockets on the front of my card.
First, I started with a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2″ white cardstock card and two white cardstock panels, one 3 1/4 x 4 1/4″ and the other 2 x 4 1/4″.
I punched out three borders using My Happy patterned paper and Fiskars Apron Lace border punch.
I adhered a punched border at the top edge of the card and both panels of cardstock, trimming off the excess.
I adhered the 3 1/4 x 4 1/4″ panel around the center of the card, adhering it only on the left and right sides, and the 2 x 3 1/4″ panel at the bottom of the card, adhering it on the left and right sides and along the bottom.
I then added a pink strip along the bottom and some Hello patterned paper pieces in between the borders.
I finished by embellishing a few tags from the Tags Pack with buttons from the Button Pack and adding them to the pockets on the card front.
I hope you enjoyed today’s Make It! Monday project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
