I love how Anna-Karin created the fun background using some gesso, the Distress Crayons, several stamp sets, and paper towels. While Anna was creating the artsy background she was going for some fun texture and lots of vivid colors and encountered a bit of a mistake. Well, not to worry because as you can see it turned out beautifully! Are you a fan of the watercolor look, like I am? Then you are going to love the My Favorite Things Watercolor Wash Paper Packs! If you’d like to add the beautiful look of watercolor to your next project, but are a little short of time, you can grab these sheets of lovely papers and you are good to go! I love the way Yoonsur used the Die-namics dies from My Favorite Things to cut the leaves, flowers, and butterflies from white cardstock. It creates such a lovely, fresh look.

Lasting Hearts Card Drive by Dawn Woleslagle
When I find a card that I love, I thoroughly enjoy the process of mass-producing several of them to have on hand, ready to go when needed. With that in mind, I was drawn to a video by Dawn Woleslagle, found HERE, full of tips for mass-producing cards using the MISTI stamping tool. Making several cards drew me to the video, but then I was completely touched and inspired by the Lasting Hearts Card Drive that Dawn supports. It is an effort to bring comfort and words of care and support for mothers who have lost a child in pregnancy and beyond.

Authentic Southern Pulled Pork
There are lots of summer events that call for the perfect recipe to serve, and do I have something yummy to share with you! I discovered this delicious Perfect Pulled Pork on the Kevin and Amanda blog a while ago and have never looked back! When I have company over for dinner, this is my go-to recipe and it is always a major hit.
Start ahead a day or two to give yourself plenty of time for the very easy brine and slow-cooking. This meat turns out moist, flavorful, and so very delicious! I’d like to thank Kevin and Amanda for sharing this recipe – it has rocked my pulled pork world!
