Hey, everyone! Roree here with another Make It! Monday project. Today I am sharing a card I created with Ken Oliver Crafts Color Burst watercolor powder, watercolor paper, and a stencil.
I started with a Pink Paislee Mistables Mask (this is an older product I have had for quite a while), a panel of watercolor paper, and three different colors of Color Burst from the Brights assortment: Phthalo Green, Ultramarine Blue, and Violet.
I placed the stencil over the watercolor paper panel. (I used a little bit of adhesive on the backside of the stencil to hold it in place.)
I sprinkled the three colors of powder very lightly around the panel. (You don’t need a lot because the powder is very concentrated.)
I used a bottle mister to mist water over the panel, getting it very wet. This allowed the colors to bead up and move around on the paper.
I dabbed some paper towels over the panel to remove the excess color.
This created a tie-dye look on the watercolor panel.
After the panel dried, I used a fine-point Sharpie marker to doodle lines around the stencil pattern.
I added black rhinestones, ribbon, flowers, and a sentiment tag to the card front to finish.

Love your tutorial on using the Color Burst, and how your panel turned out. Next time though, instead of soaking up all that wonderful color into the paper towel, flip the stencil over onto another piece of watercolor paper and you’ll have another card panel to use!! (Love Color Burst!)
