Sundays With Lorraine

Sundays-with-Lorraine

Welcome back to Weekly Scrapper! I am honored to have the opportunity to share today’s amazing projects and I hope you enjoy them as much as I have.

Summer Themed Pocket Pages By Jamie Waters

With summer in full swing, that means lots of fun activities which also means lots of pictures. Pocket page albums are a great way to keep those memories alive. They’re quick, easy and oh-so-adorable. I love what Jamie did with her fun beach pics.

DOCUMENTING SUMMER

It’s time to get those photos off our phones and into our scrapbooks and with a little help from our creative friend Jamie it’s a piece of cake. Just because your pockets are a certain shape doesn’t mean you have to stay in the lines I love how Jamie has elements that poke out the top giving the layout a relaxed, fun feel to suit her carefree summer photos.

Animal Silhouette Cards by Riikka Kovasin

I have a soft spot for silhouettes, so when I came across these gorgeous cards I immediately knew I had to share the inspiration. Riikka used a Gelliplate to create her beautiful backgrounds but you can use any method you choose to create your own unique colored backgrounds. The silhouettes where from the Scrap FX lineclick here and I’ll escort you over so you can check out all the amazing treasures that they have to offer.

I’d like to take this opportunity to send out a virtual hug to Riikka for being such an amazing inspiration to her fellow paper crafters. For an entire list of materials used to create these little works of art, click here and I would be happy to take you over to Riikka’s blog Paperiliitin.

Capture The Moment by Elina

This post goes out to all you photo enthusiasts. I fell in love with the stamp set by Visible Image titled Capture The Moment – it includes gorgeous words that we can add to our scrapbook layouts, cards, and mixed media projects, and a superb camera, too! Elina used Bister powders. Bister works like watercolour powder (e.g. Brusho), but it is an organic product, made by boiling the soot of wood or walnut shells.

EASY LEMON CHICKEN PICCATA

With a little help from our friend Amanda, we, too, can have this restaurant-quality chicken piccata at home and the best part is that it can be on the table in 30 minutes so it’s perfect for those hectic weeknight meals.
