Mini Album With A Spine By Gloria Stengel

If you are a long-time follower of mine, you know I love to make mini albums!  I love the fact that they are so fast and easy to complete; just think of them as the instant gratification of scrapbooking.  I love to have them on display for family to enjoy, flipping through them and reminiscing over the fun activities we have done in the past.  When I came upon this adorable mini album I knew I had to share the inspiration.

So what usually sparks your imagination and gets you inspired?  Is it the project you might find, the products, the story you want to capture, or just working with some of the creative juices you have in your mind?  I love to go to my craft table and see what kind of journey is awaiting me.  Creativity involves in breaking out of your traditional style.  Take a look at your project in a different way and never hesitate to try something new.  A perfect example is that it’s ok to mix and match your styles to create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.  They will always complement each other.  Let’s pop on over to Scraps of Life where you will find a detailed video showing how Gloria created this adorable mini album.  What a fun and creative way to make a unique gift.  Who wouldn’t love a mini album as a special gift for the holidays?

Autumn Thank You By Laurie Schmidlin

Have you had a chance to use Ken Oliver’s Liquid Metals?  If not, this will be a perfect opportunity for you to try them.  Laurie created this beautiful card using the liquid metals. Fall is one of the most beautiful seasons of the year.  Brilliant leaves, fall flowers, crisp blue skies, and here in Utah you feel that brisk coolness.  Such a lovely time to be outside and enjoy all of these beautiful things.  I absolutely fell in love with this outstanding canvas.  The gorgeous leaves look like you went out into your yard and picked them up!  This canvas is simply stunning!  What a masterpiece to create to have in your home during the autumn season.
