Hello, my crafty friends, it’s my favorite Tuesday of the month because today I have the opportunity to share some amazing products and booths that you will find at Stamp & Scrapbook Expo. Our show season has ended for 2017 but that doesn’t mean you’re not on our minds. It means we are busy planning another great year of shows to share with you for 2018. One of the booths on our show floor that is always on fire is Art Impressions and it’s an honor to share some of their must-have Christmas items with you today.
I will admit, I have a thing for snowmen, big or small I love them all! What’s not to love about these whimsical little guys? The Art Impressions Watercolor snowman truly makes my heart melt; he’s so stinking cute and a mini work of art. You will never be left without inspiration when you have these wonderfully creative ladies sharing their tips and techniques. Wood Slice Ornaments by Diane Zechman
It makes my heart sing when I have the opportunity to use my stamps on things other than paper. Don’t get me wrong, I love my cards and tags, but creating a holiday treasure out of a piece of wood and a cute stamp really talks to me. I hope you give these a try! These adorable tags are on my Holiday Crafting Bucket list; wouldn’t they make great gift tags that could be used as an ornament later? If they were sealed to handle the weather wouldn’t they be great to decorate a wreath or to hang on a small tree? You might want to make several sets because your crafty friends are going to love them!
Let’s not forget the Girlfriends collections, Everyone can relate to their fun and animated personalities. Below is a card that was created by Kristina Werner using the Picture Perfect Stamp Set. You can purchase just the main image or you can purchase it in a set which includes some fun sentiments. Kristina really has a gift for bringing her stamped images to life. On this sweet card, Kristina colored the Girlfriends with distress markers. I really wonder about the safety of using stamps that may have been used with various inks for this process. Should stamps used for food only be used food?
Hi Arlene! If you used our technique with the Marvy Markers, they are water-based and non-toxic. We would suggest fully cleaning your stamps with a liquid dish soap before trying the cookie stamping technique. All of our rubber stamps are food safe through the vulcanizing process we use!
