Hello and welcome to Freebie Friday!  Becki is still out and so it’s me, Diana.  We’ve got another great giveaway this week from Legacy Woodcrafters.

Owner, Angie has this to say about their family-owned company:

“We are a homegrown business specializing in designing and building items from wood and laminates, including but not limited to furniture and cabinetry.  The interest and experience in these areas started to grow when Randy decided to remodel his grandparent’s farmhouse which was built in 1906 and is where we raised our three sons and still reside near Wausau, Wisconsin.  Randy has been a cabinet maker by trade for many years now and our products are his design and he does most of our building.  Our oldest son is also a cabinet maker and is frequently working in our shop along with his dad.  Angie is an avid scrapbooker, cardmaker and dabbles in many other hobbies which co-exist in her craft room.

What inspired us:

The inspiration for our craft room furniture came from Angie and her Scrapmates, a group of nine women who have been “retreating” and scrapbooking together for many years.  After sharing their storage issues with each other and Randy over time, we decided that we could make something better.

  • Something made stronger to withhold the weight of supplies and would not need to be replaced after a year or two.
  • Something you didn’t have to spend hours assembling.
  • Something that stands alone.  No need to go shopping elsewhere for other furniture or shelves to work.
  • Something that was completely finished.  No staining, sealing, or painting needed.
  • Something that would hold a stack of 12 X 12 papers, or the containers we use to store our paper and supplies in.
  • Something to hold your cover sets and pages or to display your completed album.
  • Something easy to clean and that would look great for many years to come.

When you look at our Packages Collection, you will notice that most of them have our Scrapmates names.  Thank you to this fun group of women for sharing your ideas and your favorite pieces with all of us!”

This is one of their wheeled carts, stacked 2 high, showing Totally Tiffany’s ScrapRack.  Tiffany has given them one to use in thier display and for pictures.

Our 32″ pullout that can hold things like Cricut or Silhouette and has a grommet in the back for cords.  Customers can leave their machines right on pullout tray for use.  No more moving your machines around.  This Cube has been very popular!

As you can see the possibilities are endless.  Angie says their packages are named after her “Scrapmates!”

This is the Traditional Open Cube, 16 Inch, with Three Optional Shelves and One Optional Drawer. The price for the Open Cube is $62. With the shelves and drawer, it is $110. Open Cube Dimensions are 14-7/16 X 14-7/16 X 15-1/4 on the inside. Optional Drawer inside dimensions 12-3/8 X 13 X 2-3/8. We do also offer drawer dividers that will fit in our drawers for small embellishments, tools, or everything us crafters collect. Open shelves can hold plastic cases, 12 x 12 paper, albums…

    I visited their booth at the Scrapbook Expo in Duluth, GA last year, and I’m still thinking about their furniture! Everything was beautiful, really well made, and the folks working the booth could not have been nicer! I’m definitely going to keep them in mind when I overhaul my craft space.

I also like the fact the cubbie is big enough to hold our 12X 12 plastic storage containers. I don’t recall other units on the market able to do that.     WOW, this is the first I have heard of Legacy Woodcrafters. I went to check out their website and all the products look awesome for craft room organization. I m so many others carts ( plastic) which is so cheap once I load my stuff in them the wheels break off cause it’s too heavy it wont roll. Then the drawers start to crack. Waste of my money.     Great looking product, I like how you fit the various items, all of which I have and struggle with, constantly having to move and rearrange based on what project I’m working on. I like how you have used the clips in the paper organizing sections to be able to hold the weight. I have another brand and am always fighting the shelves falling out.
