Spring Blessings Card & Gift Bags

I would like to thank Melissa Phillips, author of Lilybean Paperie for graciously given us permission to share her beautiful Spring card today. I highly recommend visiting her blog you will truly be inspired.

Blessings

I’m happy to introduce you to Spring Hills, a new stamp set from Papertrey Ink, designed by Nichole Heady.  Simply said, it’s just sweet and adorable.

 Blessings

This sweet card uses many images from this set with paper-pieced houses as the focus.  They are stamped in Ocean Tides, the trees and sentiment in Simply Chartreuse, and the flowers in Autumn Rose.

The paper-pieced houses are stamped onto Vintage Cream cardstock cut using the Limitless Layers:  1 1/4″ Circles die collections, matted onto patterned paper cut using the Limitless Layers:  2 1/2″ Circles die collections, and then adhered to Vintage Cream cardstock cut using theMat Stack 3 die.  The card is finished off with Sweet Blush Saddle Stitch ribbon and an Aqua Mist button.

Cute Gift Bags

How cute are these adorable gift bags using the same sweet stamp set? Melissa began with small glassine bags and stamped the house and trees in watermark ink then added white and Zing Blush embossing powder.

Melissa then used patterned paper and the Heart-2-Heart #12 die collection to embellish the bag just a bit.  Sweet Blush buttons resemble flowers, and a Vintage Cream felt heart cut using the Flipping Out die collection finishes both bags off.
