Fairy Wishes

Have you been in the mood to create something different lately? It is the time of year where you’ve either had lots of snow days, or the holidays have slowed you down and you finally have some time to create.  This beautiful card will bring a ray of sunshine to you with all of its vibrant colors.  This was created by Eileen Godwin.  To see more of her gorgeous creations be sure to visit her blog Eileen’s Craft Zone.

Fairy Wishes

Eileen started her card by using White Linen card stock.  She took her Sweet Poppy Stencils “Wishing Tree” and “Wild Flowers” and attached them to her cardstock. Next she colored the tree and flowers through the stencils with Distress Inks.  After your coloring is complete remove the stencils and dry the inks with a heat gun.  After cleaning your stencils, reattach them into place and tape them firmly down again with some low tac tape.  Apply Translucent Paste and very carefully remove the stencils and cover the images with clear Micro Beads.  Leave the card to dry overnight, and be sure not to touch!  Thank You Eileen for sharing such a wonderful and inspirational card.

Creativity involves in breaking out of your traditional style.  Take a look at your project in a different way, and never hesitate to try something new.
