Make Today Beautiful

This card is very soft and feminine with a great combination of color and textures.  Don’t you just love the different shapes of die cuts?  The miniature frame adds such a great shabby chic look to the card.  This darling card was created by Kristi Schurr.  She has so many inspirational projects so be sure to hop on over to her blog Kristi’s Paper Creations.

Make Today Beautiful

Kristi started her card with a base made from Ivory cardstock.  She then layered vintage inspired papers on top. Die cut a piece of  Vintage Dictionary Paper into a label shape and adhere it to the middle of your page.  She used a die cut doily and placed over the top of the Dictionary paper.  She then added a stamped label featuring a vintage image of two little girls, along with adding a white resin frame to frame over one of the girls.  Take pink seam binding and wrap it around the card, tie a bow and add a fun button.  Blue and pink Pastel Hemp Cording was used to thread the button and accent the middle of the bow.  You can make your darling vintage card that can be used for any occasion.

Creativity involves in breaking out of your traditional style.  Take a look at your projects in a different way, and never hesitate to try something new.
