Let It Snow

This has already been a winter with a lot of snow in many parts of the country. And while snow shoveling has become a regular form of exercise for me so far this season, I still enjoy a good snow. Today’s card comes from Audrey Petit and it is a celebration of snow!

Audrey is one of our favorite designers and you can find more of her projects on her blog.

She says about this card, “I’ve been crushing big time on gray this past year, so this collection has stolen my heart. For today’s card, I pulled out a variety of gray tones from the 6×6 papers and Enhancements Cut Apart paper to create an icy monochromatic look. I absolutely adore the mix of hues, from deep, dark gray to silver gray to light gray to crisp, bright white. Adds a lot of interest, even in a design lacking in a lot of color. You can notice from the side how the frame has been popped up on foam dots for a bit of dimension. The tag, too, is elevated, and a big, puffy bow adds even more depth. Quick way to create a window effect with very little effort.”

Have a wonderfully crafty day!
