Hey, everyone! Roree here with another Make It! Monday project. Today I am sharing a pocket scrapbooking-style layout I created with Simple Stories Happy SN@P! Pack.
First, I started off with a 12″ x 12″ sheet of white cardstock, the Happy SN@P! Pack, and some adhesive.
I printed out a 4″ x 4″ photo and picked out some of my favorite journaling cards from the SN@P! Pack. There are a few different sizes of cards in the pack: 2″ x 2″, 3″ x 4″, 4″ x 4″, and 4″ x 6.”
I rearranged the cards and my photo over the layout base until I found an arrangement that I liked.
Starting in the bottom left corner, I adhered the cards and my photo to the white cardstock making sure the bottom and left edges were perfectly in line.
The cards didn’t line up perfectly, so I just trimmed a little off of the top and right edges with my paper trimmer.
Because I like the look of sewing on my projects, I added a little zigzag stitching between the cards and photo with my sewing machine.
I finished by adding die cuts from the Happy SN@P! Pack and word stickers from the Life Documented Word Strip Stickers Pack to some of the journaling cards on the layout.
Such a fun way to use pocket scrapbooking products on a regular layout, don’t you think?
I hope you enjoyed today’s Make It! Monday project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
This is adorable!! I will have to give this a try. I always do 12×12 but have always purchased the smaller sets to use on the pages. I never thought of making a page out of them. I love the look!
