A Touch of Gold

Danielle header

For me, gold has really made its way back into card making in little touches here and there… with gold embossing, gold foil paper, gold tape… there are so many fun ways to add gold!

On this “Let It Snow” card, I used a gold foil adhesive paper called Luxe Gold Adhesive Sheets by Papertrey Ink. Silhouette also makes a gold adhesive paper like it. It was die cut with the Star Scribbles die also by Papertrey. In the background, I’ve stamped some snowflakes from a stamp set called Quilted: Winter. The “Let It Snow” was cut with the Christmas Cheer die and backed with a snowflake doily found from the craft store.

Let me show you a few other things I’ve made using gold products lately!

These were stamped and embossed with gold embossing powder, and I’ve added a gold tape along the top of each. I think gold and black is fabulous together! Do you agree? You can read more about this card set HERE.

These are gold-dipped leaf die cuts! You can read how to dip your die cuts HERE.
