Happy Spring, everyone!  Another fabulous weekend is here and I wish you a very happy Easter weekend. I thank you for sharing part of it with me. Today you are sure to be inspired by some wonderful and talented designers. I hope you will take the time to enjoy and create some of the fabulous projects I have to share with you.

Paradise By Denise Van Deventer

With the winter season behind us and summer on its way, I thought you might enjoy a nice summer-inspired project.  I fell in love with the beautiful blue colors, along with the gel paste and the new Under the Sea Stickable stencil by Bo Bunny. This layout is perfect for those summer photos that are waiting for you to showcase them on a lovely layout.

I love the way that Denise added some drops of acrylic onto her page, then sprayed water onto the drops so the paint spreads out and seeps into the paper.  This gives such a beautiful look to her background. Mixed media is really fun and there is no right or wrong way to do it.  Most important is to play and have fun with it! Click here to see Denise’s full step-by-step tutorial on how she created this fabulous layout.  It is time to break out some of those treasures you might have of beach and travel, and begin to have fun creating your own beautiful masterpiece!

Just For You By Leslie Miller

I really enjoy working with die cuts. They make my projects work up quickly and also give some dimension to them, not to mention how beautiful they always turn out!  This darling card was created with several die cuts and an embossing folder.

Just For You

Leslie Miller created this fabulous card.  She completed it by stamping the adorable birds, coloring them with Prismacolor pencils, and shading with soft chalks.  She colored her birdhouses and flowers with Copic markers.  Be sure to pop on over to Running With Scissors to get all the supplies you will need to create this fun card.

Enjoy This Special Day By Amy Sheffer

When I see butterflies I always get so excited knowing that summer is just around the corner. Today I want to share this darling card made by Amy Sheffer.  Don’t you just love the soft chevron background and how it complements the beautiful butterfly? This outstanding card could be used for many different occasions.

Amy heat embossed in white, then sponged some yellow, green, and turquoise inks.  She used a fun chevron stencil for her background.  Come with me over to Pickled Paper Designs where you will find so many more wonderful projects created by Amy.  You will be so inspired by this talented lady!
