Hey, everyone! Roree here with another Make It! Monday project. Today I am sharing a tag I created using an acrylic stamp block, some ink, and water to create a beautiful ombré background on watercolor paper.

I started with a piece of watercolor paper, an acrylic stamping block, some ColorBox Cat’s Eye Queue ink in Fiesta by Clearsnap, and a water spray bottle.

I inked the acrylic block from light to dark, placing the Lemon Grass ink on top, the Citrine ink in the middle, and the Surf ink on the bottom.

I sprayed the block with water, wetting it pretty heavily so that the ink started to move slightly.

I then stamped the ink onto a piece of watercolor paper, gently dabbing the overly saturated areas with a paper towel so the panel would dry quicker.

I cut out the stamped image, rounded the corners, and distressed the edges with a file.

I applied a rub-on sentiment from the Wonderful Rub-on Transfers pack and puffy stickers from the Believe Puffy Stickers pack by Paper House Productions. I punched a hole at the top of the tag and added a bow to finish.
