Hey everyone! Roree here with today’s Make It! Monday post.
Our next show is this week in Duluth, GA on July 14th-15th. Stamp & Scrapbook Expo will be teaching three “Latest & Greatest” workshops at this show: Card Making, Cool Tools, and Stamping. We have lots of great products from some awesome manufacturers in these classes, and today I am going to be working with products from our Cool Tools workshop: The Stamps of Life‘s Exclusive Pillow Box Die Set.
If you take the class, you will receive the 7-piece die set designed by Stephanie Barnard:
I used the die set and The Stamps of Life’s 6 x 6 1/2″ Laugh Collection Patterned Paper Pad to create this pillow gift box:
After cutting the box shape out of patterned paper, I layered the small frame die over one of the pillow box’s sides and cut out a window. I then used the large frame die to cut a frame from vellum. I adhered the vellum on the inside of the box to create a frosted window.
I cut the sentiment using the “A Gift for You” die nested inside the small frame die and adhered the cut onto the vellum window. I finished by adding some baker’s twine and a fussy-cut whale from a sheet in the paper pad.
This set is perfect for so many different occasions and you can change the look and feel of your box by simply changing the papers you use.
This Latest & Greatest: Card Making workshop featuring The Stamps of Life’s Exclusive Pillow Box Die Set will be taught at our upcoming shows in Duluth, Kansas City, Santa Clara, Edison, and Schaumburg. We would love to see you there!
I hope you enjoyed today’s Make It! Monday project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
Cool pillow box. Can’t wait for the MA expo!
