Saturdays With LeAnn

7 Layer Candy Apple Cheesecake Bars

Welcome back to Weekly Scrapper, my dear friends.  On this beautiful fall day, it is my desire to share some fun autumn-themed projects with you. I hope to bring you some inspiration so you will want to pull out your fun projects and begin to create things that will make you feel happy and accomplished.  I hope you have a warm, beautiful, relaxing, and creative fall day!

Autumn By Nathalie DeSousa

It is no secret that my favorite time of the year is fall. I love creating autumn-themed layouts and I am excited to share this beautiful layout with you.  Working with your imagination is all about creativity and using it to take something as simple as a piece of paper and turning it into a beautiful piece of art.  Nathalie wanted to portray an outdoor setting, so she recreated some foliage for her layout.  Before laying down her leaves and photos, Nathalie created a beautiful and colorful background.  As scrapbookers, we know it is all about sharing the memories and preserving the moments.  Don’t you just feel the inspiration from this layout?

Autumn Splendor By Cherry Nelson

It’s hard to believe that autumn is here!  It is a beautiful season when Mother Nature gives us majestic colors and invites us to be thankful for our blessings.  Cherry used a lot of chipboard pieces from Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts and flowers to create her dimension.  As fast as the months fly by, it will soon be time to celebrate Thanksgiving, and with that in mind, I want to share this adorable card created by Cherry Nelson.

Mason Jar Lid Pumpkin By Taysha Murtaugh

As most of you know, I just love Mason Jars.  One can never have too many of them!  Lately I have been using them in my scrapbook room for some of my embellishments.  With that said, I don’t really use the lids; so while surfing the internet for projects I came upon this adorable Mason Jar Lid Pumpkin.  I was so excited to share this with you!  This is such an amazing idea to re-use your rings.

The Mason Jar Lid Pumpkin will be one of your favorite pumpkin projects of all time.  It’s cute, simple, and one of the first decorations people will notice when they walk into your house.  Let me take you on over to Country Living where you will see a full video tutorial by Taysha on how easy these cute pumpkins are to make.  The longest part of the whole project is waiting for the paint to dry.  Have fun creating!

I can honestly say I have never had a dessert quite like this before.  These caramel apple cheesecake bars with streusel topping are absolutely unreal.  Each layer is heavenly, and then on top of it all, it is drizzled with a fantastic caramel.  When I found this recipe, I knew I just had to try it.  My husband has now declared these are his new favorite dessert, which means I will be making them again and most likely very soon!

Now that your mouth is watering, let’s pop on over to Carlsbad Cravings where Jen will give you her recipe and directions on how to make these yummy treats.  These are a perfect treat for your family and friends.  You will be sure to put a smile on their faces. Enjoy!
I hope you have enjoyed today’s post and have been inspired to give these charming projects a try.  I know you will have fun creating them.  Thank you again for sharing some of your weekend with me; I look forward to having you return next Saturday.  Have a fabulous week!
