Latest & Greatest: Scrapbooking with Jillibean Soup

Hey everyone! It’s Roree filling in for Becki this week, and I have some more fun products from the Latest & Greatest workshops to share with you.

Our next show is next week in Schaumburg, IL. Stamp & Scrapbook Expo will be teaching four “Latest & Greatest” workshops at this show: Card Making, Cool Tools, Scrapbooking, and Stamping. Today I am going to be creating with a new product from our Latest & Greatest: Scrapbooking class: Jillibean Soup‘s Bohemian Brew collection.

This collection is full of fun and colorful patterned papers, coordinating stickers, puffy stickers, label stickers, stamps, and die cuts. If you take the class, you will receive the following sampler kit containing a few sheets of the patterned papers, Letter Die Cuts, and Puffy Stickers:

And I am going to apologize now before I share my project. I was traveling last week and I brought this kit with me to work with on the road. When I sat down to start creating, I realized I forgot to bring photos. So instead of a layout to go with the scrapbooking theme of the class, I created this card:

I covered the card base with B-side of the Bite Size Bits paper. I layered a panel of the Love paper left over from the class project kit on top. I then added journaling cards (whole and pieces) from the Bite Size Bits paper in the center.

I popped up the L, V, and E letters from the Letter Die Cuts pack, added a die cut flower in place of the O, embellished the flower and around it with stickers from the Puffy Stickers pack, and added a sentiment cut from one of the journaling cards.

I loved working with this kit and I can’t wait to actually make a layout with it!

This Latest & Greatest: Scrapbooking workshop featuring Jillibean Soup‘s Bohemian Brew collection will also be taught at our upcoming show in Edison. We would love to see you in class at one of these shows!

I hope you enjoyed today’s Inspiration Station post. Thanks so much for stopping by!

This is a beautiful card. It gives great inspiration and new use for all the stacks of designer cardstock 🙂
