Make It Monday with Keep It Simple

Hey everyone! Roree here with today’s Make It Monday post and I have some fun products to share with you from our new Keep It Simple brand.

Today, I am working with the Celebrate the Little Things collection by Becki Adams.

If you are like me, you like to get the most out of your supplies. One thing I like to do is challenge myself to use my supplies in unexpected ways. A prime example, I like to use seasonal products for non-seasonal projects and vice versa. It definitely helps me use up my supplies.

I used this bright and flowery collection to create the following Christmas card:

I fell in love with the plaid paper in the Collection Pack, and I immediately thought it would work great for a Christmas card. So I used it for the base of my ornament card which I cut using my Cricut Explore® machine.

I added some colored cardstock to the center of the ornament and decorated it with snowflake die cut, chipboard heart, and a button.

I finished by adding ribbon and a die cut tag and sentiment from the Ephemera pack to finish.

One of my favorite elements for this card is the color palette. It is not definitely not expected for a Christmas card, but I think it works beautifully!

Shaped cards are so fun, especially for the holidays, but sometimes those fun shapes are a little hard to display. A quick tip to fix that problem if your card is circular or uneven, trim a straight edge on the back of the card to give the card a sturdy base to prop it.

This is a great collection for so many types of projects, so try using it on your next holiday card! And there are more great products in this collection to work with including Enamel DotsChipboard Words, Washi Tape, Travelers Notebooks, and a 4×6 Stamp Set.

Be sure to check out the Celebrate the Little Things collection (plus our other great new collections) at the Keep It Simple website. I hope you enjoyed today’s Make It Monday project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
