Nathalie started her background with a cut file from Simple Stories. She then started lightly folding some of the edges of the cut file to add some dimension. With all of the fun details and dimension in this layout, the photo is still the first thing your eye is drawn to. With die cutting you can create layering and dimension and give your project an intricate look. This darling card was created using the Lace Edge Die by Altenew. It is so beautifully detailed and ornate. Can you just imagine giving this to someone you love for Valentine’s Day? I think it is a great way of showing your love to that special person.
You can also take this lace edge die up a notch and use the Halftone Hearts Nesting Die set and make two hearts; aren’t they lovely?
