Latest & Greatest: Card Making with The Stamps of Life

Hey everyone! Roree here with today’s Make It Monday post.

Our next show is in Puyallup, WA on May 31 & June 1. Stamp & Scrapbook Expo will be teaching five “Latest & Greatest” workshops at this show: Card Making, Cool Tools, Planners, Scrapbooking, and Stamping. Today I am going to be creating with a new product from our Card Making class: The Stamps of Life Party Hat Birthday Bundle.

If you take the Card Making class, you will receive the Party Hat Birthday Bundle:

With it, I created this shaped card:

To create the hat-shaped card base, I started with an A2 card, the largest hat die in the set, and a couple of pieces of washi tape.

I placed the edge of the die along the folded edge of my card and taped it in place, making sure the cutting edge was on the outside edge of the card.

Then, I ran it through my die-cutting machine to create my hat-shaped card.

Next was the fun part… decorating my card.

I added cardstock pom pom die cuts and a button to the top and cardstock and patterned paper brim along the bottom.

I created a fun banner using some patterned paper and the “Surprise” stamp from the set, along with some die-cut stars and a chipboard heart.

I just love this die set and I plan on using it to make cards for lots of fun, festive occasions!

This Latest & Greatest: Card Making workshop featuring the The Stamps of Life Party Hat Birthday Bundle will be ending in Puyallup, WA. We will have new products and projects starting in St. Paul, MN on June 7 & 8.

I hope you enjoyed today’s Make It! Monday project. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Nice technique. An awesome birthday card or party invite. I like how you used confetti washi tape to continue the celebratory theme. LOL

Does anyone know where I could purchase this party hat die and stamp set? I missed out when it was on HSN and my google search led me to this group, and I’m apparently late to it as well! Any help you could give would be much appreciated!
